"Went to visit my Dad today. He was quiet and not feeling well. The staff were doing a good job and had plenty of staff and on duty. Mealtime isn’t easy because so many different needs. My Dad has enjoyed his beef but I’ve had to cut up a few of his pieces. This isn’t an issue. I know it’s hard prepping food for the group. My Dad loves dessert and the choice of Banana Split had poor execution I saw the young bringing Bananas in and likely was pressed for time. Too many many Bananas used. Could cut up one big piece into four pieces and that would be fine. too much stuffed in the plastic cup. The portion control didn’t match the audience. The last time I was there he everything and was a nice meal"

"The Watermark at Vistawilla was very clean, very organized, and smelled good. We met the medical staff and our tour guide, they're all very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The facility is jaw-droppingly beautiful. It's very close to the 417, which is a major state road, and of course, that's close to hospitals and close to restaurants. It's also 5 minutes away from my father's home."

"My Grandmother lived in this facility before she passed away. It is a very clean and comfortable facility, with friendly staff and a "home like", welcoming environment. There is ample indoor and outdoor space for the residents to enjoy. My Grandmother lived in an assisted living setting, with her own small apartment to enjoy. We always loved the fact that she had the care she needed, but also her own space to go to when she wanted (a private room with a small fridge, television, bed, and sitting area). Activities in the facility were plentiful and, though my Grandmother could (chose to) keep to herself at times, she was always personally invited to attend them by members of the nursing and activities staff. I loved the fact that they made her feel included, but still respected her privacy when she did decide to say no at times and just enjoy her own space / private time. Visitors in the facility were always welcomed by the reception staff and invited to attend meals, activities, and enjoy outdoor time with the residents if they so chose. When my Grandmother passed, the staff at the facility remained very compassionate with our family and respectful of the time it took to clear her personal belongings, say our goodbyes, etc. It was obvious that they respected and loved her as a member of their family and we really appreciated that during our time of need. I really cannot say enough positive about this facility. I would highly recommend it and would not hesitate to place another loved one there if the need arose. "

"All the facilities we visited have been excellent, but Cornerstone was the one that was within my insurance budget. This place was built quite a few years ago so it's the oldest facility in the area. All the others were new and all but their prices were beyond my insurance and I just couldn't afford that. Also a friend of ours had used this place for their folks and they recommended it. The manager there is very dedicated. She would go in a couple of times a week on her own on hours that the staff don't know that she's coming just to see how they're doing. She was a very nice lady and she even has her mother there as a patient. Their rooms were nice and adequate. They're also well-kept. However, you have to furnish your own room for yourselves but it's the same in all the other facilities. "

The person who helped during the tour was very professional and nice. They asked me to sample their food, but I didn't have time. They did give me a box of cookies when I left. I saw some exercises that they were doing in a room. They had a pool, but I didn't see anybody in it because it was raining."

"What was impressive at Chambrel was that they were right on top of it when I asked what they would do in case of fire and what the protocols were. Others didn't know, but they (Chambrel) were very good. They have a pool there. Their rooms and their dining room were very good as well; however, my grandma just said that it was a little too fancy for her. Three of the staff there were very good. There were four of us who visited it at different times, and the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. "

"Gentry Park Orlando's staff was very attentive and professional. They just didn't have as many activities for the residents and they were a little less engaging. The food was definitely not that great at all and they really need to do something about the food. There weren't any choices, and you had to eat whatever they put in front of you. The cost of the medication was also a bit higher. The corridor always had a foul order, as well as in my dad's room. It was also only cleaned once a week, so that didn't make it very desirable. I went there once a month for an entire year and it always smelled like that. Overall, despite those things, the facility itself is beautiful."

"I lived here. I had a really nice room amd it was one of the better rooms. I loved the people there, they were super. The activities were about the same as everywhere else. I had such a good experience there. My husband was also there until he passed away, but it wasn't because of lack of attention. You wouldn't believe how quick the staff members are. The food there is good, they have a chef who works very hard, and he keeps his food up-to-date. They go above and beyond to make sure that their food is competition-ready. They have crafts and they have people come in like entertainers and piano players. The staff or personnel there do everything they can to make sure you're comfortable and happy."

"We like Bridgeport Senior Living-Port Cardiff Llc because it's an actual home environment and they've got a couple of caregivers for every three people. They're making sure mom gets up and gets out into the living room with everybody else or out of the kitchen when they're eating and stuff. They keep it very spotless there and it's just a pretty home. The outdoors is very beautiful. It's very pretty going there, on the front side and the back side. It's been too hot to sit out on the porch right now, but they've got pretty birds back there. The landscape is very pretty. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Amanda oversees the home and recently we had to have a mobile dental service come in and she tries to make sure she's there or is aware of what's going on. When I can't be there, I know that she tries to be there for those extra services. She had to have an in-house X-ray done and I happened to be there when they were doing that. They're very nice and very sweet people. We just moved mom from one side of the room to the other side and they went ahead and did that for us. They made sure that her bed was moved over and everything was moved over for her. They have bathrooms where they give them showers, a nice living room, and several reclining chairs so that the residents can sit in a nice chair while they're in the living room. It's like your normal house so it doesn't feel like you're in a hospital or something. I know they have a menu that they try to go by, but if they don't like the food, they try to accommodate what they like. I know they have served her oatmeal for breakfast, for instance, because they know she likes oatmeal. They have activities for them to get involved with, which is nice. They bring in people and Amanda has sent me pictures of my mom doing some of the activities. The price we pay is up there with the other bigger facilities, probably about the same, but she's getting more attention and they get to know each other in the home because it's on a smaller scale."
