Summer Time Retirement

Upon arriving i was not sure if I still wanted this to be an option. The building and general facility seemed to be a bit older and it was still farther away from my home than I initially wanted my father to be. Once I walked in I spoke to some of the staff. They were very nice and I enjoyed our disccusions. I toured part of the facility and it had a homey type feel to it. The interior was freshly painted and gave it a clean feel as well. I also met and spoke to a resident who also said he enjoyed living here and that he enjoys his days and afternoons outside or in the general area. The landscape outside was nice. It was located closer to the freeway and you could hear that in the background, but still could hear things like birds and more peaceful things. The outdoors area was quaint and I said lots of wildlife such as butterflies and squirrels. It was a comforatble environment. I still did not like that it was farther than anticipated. I probably will rule this particluar location out of my selection but soley based on distance. I would prefer to be closer to home and I have seen some other facilities that I have been happy with as well that are still within my pricerange.

this is a place with excellent care givers and services. the staffs keeps track of meds , serves food on time . keeps the facility clean. the staff does well with some of the prople there who are mental in there actions.
