I recently needed assistance with my personal care after a hip surgery. Walton Place assisted living worked with my hospital case manager to admit me quickly. The staff were professional, the food was amazing, the facility very clean and well maintained. It felt more like being at home than it did in an assisted living facility. The activities director is very energetic, and kept me busy during my stay. My room was spacious and the staff kept it clean. The facility management in constantly available and truly cares about the people who live here. The Executive Director really makes a difference in the way he manages the facility. He is always pleasant and smiling as are all of the staff. The people living here have become my friends and I frequently visit since my discharge. If I ever need them again I know they will be here to help me. Doug Ward, Former Resident

My mom currently lives there and she is not happy about it. The place is always short staffed Lazy , non caring staff who sit on their phone instead of taking care of the clients. They wash all the resident laundry together which is disgusting and never returns the clean clothes to the correct person. . Neglect if patients needs , some bedrooms on the memory care unit smells like strong urine. Floor are dirty. Poor house keeping from staff. Very cold and dirty in the memory care unit. The only available water fountain on the memory care unit has black net like bugs flying around it where the clients drink water from.

My brother is in Walton Place Assisted Living Facility. So far, I'm very happy and so is he with his new facility. It's clean, and it's relatively well staffed. They're very caring, compassionate, and professional. They seem to be very medically sound and approved staff. My brother has nothing but good things to say about the community, and myself also. For the most part, the rooms are spacious. They are well-kept. Some of the rooms are not as large as others, but they are well-kept and clean. They stay on top of things for cleanliness to make it seem home-like throughout the facility with decorations. They have daily activities. They have a staff that is well-rounded, diversified, very caring and compassionate, that works with your loved ones in their residential home setting for the clients. I have observed activities in the evening and at weekends. The residents have the ability to be engaged or not as they choose. Everybody seems to be very pleasant and caring towards one another, like staff towards residents, residents towards staff, and residents towards one another.

We visited Walton Place Assisted Living Facility for my mom and we liked it. It is obviously not very old and it looked professionally ran. We liked the amenities and how everything appeared to be. The food and the services looked good. The staff looked professional, polite, and courteous. The information we're getting is that they are well trained whether it is assisted living or memory care. They could not let us in to the memory care area, so we saw a single room in the assisted living side. It was very nice, and it looked like it would accommodate. We only saw one room; it was a private room with one bed in it. The furniture and the spacing, the bathroom and shower area all looked very nice.

We went to Walton Place Assisted Living. We know a couple of people, friends of ours that have family there. It was good, the size of the room was the same as where my father-in-law is now, it looked fine, and everything was nice and clean. They had a salon and they had a gym. The staff was nice, and the layout was good. It's near the hospital, it's near US-19, so it's pretty convenient for families to get to.

New content: Several months ago I was invited to bring my trained and registered Service Dog to visit the site so she could interact with the residents. Ms. Savannah is a 5 1/2 y/o Mini-poodle that is super sweet and gentle and loves to give and get lots of attention. Right from our very first visit I was very impressed how nice and clean the home was and very well taken care of. All of the staff I came in contact with were very attentive to the residents and genuinely seemed to care about all the residents. We now visit several times a month and the residents have fallen in love with Savannah. I am quite sure she loves the visits. She gets tons of attention and loves giving attention to the residents! I am a newly retired senior myself and if and when the day comes for me to look for an assisted living facility I would certainly consider this one!

My mother lives here but when i have come to visit The food they serve them is ridiculous! And sometimes the rooms arn't clean but i get there's a lot going on at times. Also i hardly hear about the acyivities they get to do in MC , idl'd have to say That is the downside of the place i have to say. The smoking area and cleanliness is great. I also have to make sure my mother gets her meds on time most of the time but i understand when a person can get slowed down. The staff is awesome they play with the residents which makes everyone laugh. Also, I came again two days ago and was told they lost one of the BEST employee's Ms.Nobie, She was an awesome caregiver , WE need her to come back!

Walton Place has a memory unit, and my husband needed that. It's pretty new and has hardwood floors everywhere, really nice furnishings, and nice food. The girls who work there are all pretty young, and I think they have good attitudes. They have a very nice art room, and the girl in charge is beautiful with a wonderful personality. They have a big dining room where they're always putting on shows. They have a game room for cards and quite a nice backyard with a 14-foot fence, so the memory people can't get out. The only problem is the laundry; I have to take it home.
