I had an in-person tour of Jennifer Gardens. When we arrived, we had to ring the doorbell several times. Then we waited outside, and nobody came. Then we called the facility. Nobody answered, and the person there said she was unaware of our scheduled tour. They were very disorganized. It was a little off-putting, I guess you could say. After about almost 10 minutes, we were finally able to get in.
The physical appearance is very nice. The building is very well maintained. It is on the newer side. The rooms are very decent in size, but it just wouldn’t be a good fit for my mom. The people are on the older side, and my mom’s still on the younger side.
The staff members were very friendly, but they did seem overwhelmed. They had just finished serving lunch and cleaning up from lunch. They showed us their activities, and they have a lot of different activities going on. The activity room looked quite large. They have a walking area out back, so that was nice. The facility was lovely. I just think that they probably need a little more staff on hand.

My mother seems to like the food. She’s not complaining.

Windsor Woods has been a godsend. Before our mother’s passing, we experienced the assisted living services. Now, for our father, it is independent living. We cannot say enough about Windsor Woods. The people who work there are extremely kind and engaged, and really seem to care. They go out of their way to provide personal care and services. The facility is clean and attractive and has many amenities, including the on-site beauty salon, exercise equipment, activity rooms and a beautiful dining room. The exterior is lush and serene and just lovely. As my mother’s health declined, she received wonderful and empathetic care, and immediate assistance when needed. My father, who is in good shape, greatly appreciates the cleaning, laundry services, maintenance help and excellent meals. He also appreciates the friendly and kind staff members, who are always ready to help. There are always activities going on, and the community is vibrant. My sister and I cannot say enough about this place; we have tremendous peace of mind because of Windsor Woods. And that is truly priceless.
