Havenwood - Pompano Beach

I have chosen Havenwood for myself, and I've been here for 3 weeks now. It is a 55+ mobile home park. They have activities going on here in the clubhouse and they plan on having more. They have bingo once a month, a Halloween party, breakfasts, potluck dinners, and moving snacks where they bring in stuff from a restaurant. The prizes they give for bingo are nice, like gift certificates to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it and I like it a lot. It's good for a senior living on their own and capable. The manager here is very personable and nice and the people are very friendly. It is very near where all the stores and nightlife are. We also have a little grocery store right outside our gate here. I think they can improve more on picking up the bulk load of trees they cut down and left on the side of the road. The HOA fees here are quite high which include water, yard work, and property taxes.
