There is Legionnaires disease in the hot tub...2 people died. They have not fixed the problem. The health department gave violations. It's still not repaired.. A man was found dead floating face down in the pool years ago. They still have not hired lifeguards. It's illegal to have golf carts in this community but they don't enforce this Florida Statute here.

I'm in Pine Run Estates in Ocala. I needed somewhere to live, and it came up so I moved in April. It's very quiet and nice with no one to worry you and no dogs calling when people walk by. It's independent living, and the staff here is great. I cook my own food. They have a lot of activities here like swimming and tennis. They have a gym and salon. It's close to everything and stores.

Pine Run is a very nice community. They don’t serve food. They have a lot of activities and they have a lot of stuff going on for seniors, like bingo and card games. The people and the staff are very nice here. We have housing. It’s very comfortable, and we liked it here.

I visited Pine Run about a month ago. It's a gated community; only people that live there can get in. They have 2 swimming pools, they have activities, and sometimes bus tours to different places throughout the state.
