Shady Lane Retirement Home was nice and everything, but my mother has dementia so she can't go there. They've been working on the appearance of the community. It was nice, kept up well, and clean. It's an older house that they turned into a nursing home. The administrator or head honcho was really nice and the caretaker was also nice. I didn't have a problem with them and felt comfortable with them as well. They showed us some of the rooms and the kitchen. There are two beds per room and they each share their own bathroom. They were small and looked like they were like somebody's house. Their landscaping also looked nice.
