My brother is at Rosecastle at Deerwood. I was impressed with the way they showed me the facilities. Everything was clean. They're very caring. It was all when Covid started, so they had a virtual tour more or less. It was on Facebook, and they showed a lot of clients there, what they're doing and how they keep them occupied. I visited once or twice in person. The apartments are very nice and well kept. When they call me up, they're very well spoken and very concerned. He does a lot of art, they do little cooking activities, and he enjoys their exercise club. It's reasonable.

Its been very hard on me lately taking care of my mother Alzheimer's. So I started searching out memory care facilities to place my mom in. And while searching, I came aross RoseCastle at Deerwood. So on September 26, 2019 I gave them a call. I was transffered to the sales director "Dee" and O.M.G, what a nice calming voice to hear on the other side of the phone. He explain to me, that he was new to the facility. But was willing to help me in any way he could. While talking with him and asking all of my questions, I started crying. Because this is all overwhelming and new to me. "Dee" help me calm down. And even asked if he could pray with me. I told him yes, right away. After all no other facilities showed this kind of compasion on the phone. After the prayer, I advised "Dee" that my budget would not be able to afford their facility. He replied that he truly understood. He told me had other options that could help me, and that he could schedule a tour for me to come and see the place. I told him I would have to get my sisters and brothers on borad and give him a call back to set that up. Well, I could not get my siblings on borad. So I never called back. But I wanted to write this review to shine some light on the Sales Director 'Dee' his customer service and compasion is out of this world. Give him a call or go visit him. And you will also get to experience world class customer service and care. And a facility where your family member will be loved and cared for.

Was a good facility until Rosecastle took over. They now have a beauty shop open to the Public in which outsiders will be mixing with residents, no good for memory care and there goes the security

Thrive at Deerwood is entirely memory care. It's excellent and it's beautiful. The layout is really good and the staff is very pleasant. The dining area is very nice. They have chefs that were doing a food presentation in front of the residents and that looked excellent. They have a spa, a beauty salon, and they have games like shuffleboard and corn toss in their outside courtyard.

I liked the size of this place since I was looking for a community that wasn't too large or too small. I also liked the location of the place. The staff was lovely and it seemed to be a good fit for our needs. The grounds were modest, but adequate. They have about 80-100 units, and it had the desired memory lockdown. The setup for the advanced level housing was good. The pricing was acceptable, and they had an opening for the shared rooms, so it was economically attractive.

My husband will be moving in to this community, which is fairly new. There's a lot of activities that they get the people into. There are a lot of nurses around and there's a lot of people to help him. I'm hoping that he'll be in a room with another man and I'm hoping that it will work out good for him. The rooms were large. It can be a single or you can go with another person in there. They have different sections. He's going to be in a section where it will just be people who have the disease that he has and they'll work with him. The food was wonderful. The staff all seemed very nice, I haven't met anybody yet that I haven't liked. It's very open and they have chairs the whole way around outside of the rooms and everybody sits out there and talks. They have a lot of different activities. I have not seen an activity calendar yet because he will be in a separate section, but I feel real good about it. I'm going to be paying $3,400 a month. The room that he was in before, nobody ever walked him or took him outside or did anything, and I was paying $4,400 a month. They're going to have games and things like that at this place.
