"I was very impressed. It was a wonderful facility and looks like the kind of place that I would want my dad in. My dad would have adapted well there. They have a separate and secured memory care unit and I liked their programs. The rooms were very adequate and good. They had a physical therapy room, a small pool for exercise purposes, a theater, a very nice dining room, and a very nice menu. They also had a separate snack room. I would consider it a 5-star facility. The food appeared to be well-prepared with a variety of choices. They had organized outings in the assisted living."

"What we liked was the cleanliness, the newness of the community, and all the things that they had to offer. They have a really neat sky bar. They have a courtyard area where they have people come and play music. They have barbecues for special holidays like the 4th of July. We were impressed with it. They had a lot of different areas inside where you can play games, play pool, or checkers. They have something different on each level, which is nice. They showed us some of the crafts there, and then they also had activities planned for the residents."

"Brookdale Mandarin Central is totally Alzheimer’s. That was certainly the best place, I was most impressed. Wonderful programs that was all geared towards Alzheimer’s, and if I would have chosen anywhere for my parents to go, that would have been where I would have them go. It was just very well-cared for, and the residents were very well-taken care of. It’s a locked facility and everything was very clean, they had all kinds of activities, and there was always someone talking with them and checking on the people who were wondering. It was very uplifting, very bright, and I was most impressed with that. "

"Vintage Care in Palatka, FL is consistently a wonderful assisted living facility, as witnessed by my family over the last seven years. Each time my wife, our daughter, and myself visit, our (now 100 year old) surrogate mother Mrs. Mary B., Vintage Care makes our visits most pleasurable. Recently, at New Year's 2022/2023 week, we enjoyed and appreciated the delicious meal Chef David Williams and his very nice kitchen staff prepared and presented to our mom Mary, Marilyn, Teresa, Marge, and my family. Such friendly and polite staff, which definitely includes Donna welcoming us at the front desk and taking the attached photo. I can say that Vintage Care is a clean well kept facility that is dressed in holiday spirit year after year. It's staff, from the health care workers to the maintenance man who jokes with Mary, always have smiles. Our visits with Mary are consistently happy and heart warming, and for that we are grateful. "We appreciated the diversity of Brookdale Crown Point's staff and their willingness to talk and sit with us. We liked the very home-like quality of the facility, the fact that they were able to show us the types of rooms that we were looking for, which were private rooms. They would be able to accommodate our particular needs, and we would be able to come and visit my mother when we wanted. We liked that the it was very up to date and that it was small. Overall, we thought it was an excellent choice."

"I never anticipated having to move my mother into an assisted living facility. The decision came upon us rather quickly during a hospital stay. I certainly did my homework visiting various facilities close to my home. I decided on Seagrass Village Fleming Island after visiting multiple times. The staff is simply outstanding from the caregivers, dining room staff, front desk clerks, activities director, etc. Every staff member recognizes you with a hello, an eagerness to help, and a display of genuine compassion for the residents. Administration is involved, visible, highly approachable, and it reflects in the quality of this community. It is a great feeling to get a little feed back about mom from the staff each time I go to the facility, it is reassuring she is getting the interaction and supervision she needs. Seagrass Village is maintained beautifully, the food is excellent, and the activities are abundant. The transition of moving my parent from her home was certainly one of the most heartbreaking events of my life. I can honestly say it was the best decision and I can now rest peacefully knowing she is receiving such exceptional care."

"I toured Brookdale Southside. The apartments were well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. They have a beautiful activity room and they have a calendar of activities. They have a theater room, a craft room, and a library. There's a one-bedroom with a screened-in balcony. They had a full kitchen and a nice-sized living room. It had a washer and dryer in that room, and they have a nice-sized bathroom with a walk-in shower. The people there seemed very happy. In the dining room they have four-people tables. It was large, very light, and it's very clean."

"It has a wonderful atmosphere, a lot of activities, very caring staff, and my mom got excellent care there. She was there on respite care in their assisted living for about 45 days. The facility is beautiful and in a convenient location. The staff was excellent, everybody's very helpful, and we had no problems with them. The food was also good. They had music every week and they had a lot of games that they played. My mom didn't participate, but they had them available."

"My parents found Grand Living at Tamaya. It's brand new, it has all the accommodations they ever want and they're moving in next Thursday. We had an in-person tour. It's very well kept. Nice accommodations. Very nice staff. The rooms were big and clean. They had water exercise class, happy hour, puzzles, card games, a library, and a fitness room. My parents haven't moved in yet but just by the brochure and what they told us, they have a lot of things scheduled throughout the day. This one was the best for my parents and it fits their needs."

"I went to Brookdale Southpoint. It's a little bit better than the other place I visited. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and very helpful. They showed me around and answered all my questions. I explained to the manager that the range of the prices they provided for us is out of my limitation, and she gave me a list of other facilities to look at. It was well cared for. The room was clean. I liked it better than the other place, but I cannot afford it. It was bigger, and the shower and the closets were better."

"So far we're really pleased with Brookdale Orange Park, it has a homey atmosphere and my mom is doing extremely well there. The staff is extremely professional and very trustworthy with my mother. We didn't have a good experience with the rehab facility she was in previously, but here, I know my mom is being cared for properly. She has a 1-bedroom apartment but it doesn't have a kitchen. I would say it's a studio but it's bigger and it's private. They only either have a shared room or a private room. They have church there and they do multiple denominations. They also do lots of social activities like ice cream socials, birthday celebrations and things like that, they also have guests speakers and exercise activities. There's a library and also a salon."

"My mother has been a resident at Silver Treasures since January 2017 and absolutely loves it. My mother is completely deaf and we chose this place because of its size. We did not want her to get overwhelmed in a large home. The staff are wonderful and there are plenty of planned activities for the residents. And I can't forget to mention the great food. I absolutely love visiting with my mother and the other residents here."
