Pendry Estate Assisted Living Facility is a beautiful Spanish style home located on 11 acres, in Lake County, Florida. My mother is a resident at Pendry, and will tell you that she has so much respect for Mel D, the owner of Pendry. My mother is a retired nurse, and former director of nursing and nursing home administrator. Mom is the first to give her unsolicited praise of the kind and compassionate care delivered at Pendry. If you visit before lunch, you will first notice the delicious smells as you enter the front door. You will likely find Mel in the kitchen chopping fresh vegetables, and putting the finishing touches on something mouthwatering simmering on the stove. The home is immaculately kept, and has an open floor plan with Spanish tile floors throughout the common areas. There are eight private bedrooms, each with a large roll-in shower. Most of the rooms overlook a heated pool, just beyond a large wrap-around porch, complete with a built-in brick barbeque. Mel encourages the families and friends of the residents to take full advantage of the amenities Pendry has to offer, including the barbeque and pool. Pendry is truly like a home. Our regular visits have given us numerous opportunity to witness the great care given to all of the residents (anytime of day, any day of the week)!

My mother has been a resident of Pendry for three years. My siblings and I will be forever grateful to Ms. Davidson and her wonderful staff for the care they have provided to our mother. Ms. Davidson has gone above and beyond to make Pendry a welcoming home for her eight residents and the members of their families. The facility is beautiful as is the rural setting. We love Pendry.
