I have been to Lutheran Towers II and filled in an application. They would go by your income. They're more structured. They have just been renovated, so it looks a little better. They're more disciplined. You can tell the difference in the living situation and how people live. The staff members were pretty nice. The facility is clean. However, there's a waiting list.

My aunt will move into Luther Towers II. I was able to see the apartment that they had available for my aunt, but they did not give me a tour of the facility. She's in an ADA unit. It's sufficient for her, since she doesn't need much. We're actually in the process of moving her in, and it's a small apartment. During the initial connection with the staff, they were very welcoming, but then trying to connect with them after we had taken ownership of the apartment has been a little problematic, even just to coordinate the move. They are slow in responding to your communication. The surrounding area is beautiful. It's a very nice neighborhood, which is one of the reasons why I chose this for my aunt.

Lutheran Senior Services - Lutheran Towers II's lobby area is very clean. The staff is very professional and highlighted the programs as far as what they do for the people who are staying there as well as the type of activities they have. I had a good visit and it was welcoming. The apartment size was average, but they're cleaner and more updated. They have checkers, games, a TV room, and they take them shopping.

Lutheran Towers was very nice. They have an activities director that gives them the same activities as everywhere else, like going out for shopping and lunch. They had a gift shop, nice rooms, and didn't have meals in assisted living, but they had a cafeteria where they could go and buy meals.
