"My wife is in Regency Healthcare & Rehab Center right now. It’s not very good. The food is not that good. It’s a good location because it’s close to my house. It’s somewhat clean. "

"My father has moved into Madeline Care Center. It's been a pretty good experience so far. His room was completely flipped. He had fresh paint and brand new laminated flooring, so it's very nice. He's in rest residential, which is assisted living in Delaware. They do not have very many activities, but I was told that an activity director was hired last week. There's not many choices per meal, but he likes the breakfast. The soup I had was good. The facility is like an old home almost, so they're renovating part of it. It's outdated, but the rooms are humongous, and I was very impressed with that. They have a library, and the dining room is very nice and has linen tablecloths. The staff is very friendly. Anytime I've asked for something to be done or changed, they jump right on it, and they do their best to accommodate us."

"We toured Gilpin Hall. It was a very good tour. My mother was very happy with visiting. She was very happy and expressed how she would like to be a resident there. The rooms were good. The facility was very well maintained and very clean, and everything was suitable to move my mother there as a resident. The staff was very good and knowledgeable, and took their time showing us around the facility, to the rooms, the dining area, and the game room. We didn't try the food, but the dining area was very clean and very well-kept."

"My brother is in Kentmere. It's favorable. It's not fancy. They are very courteous. They seem to take care of the patients. If he needed anything, they are there to take care of him and they are prompt in providing it. It's older, it's like 100 years old I think. It was a lot better than a couple I'd looked at. Physical therapy is through an insurance company. They seem to be doing their job, and there are a lot of people there. They've got good coverage. I saw them this morning doing activities. It's an Alzheimer's area, so they were batting a ball around, they have small tubes and throwing them on pegs, and easy things like that. My brother's there for physical therapy, and he goes down to the PT room where they are trying to get him to go from a wheelchair onto the toilet, standing up, and things like that. So they do have the facilities for P.T. and occupational therapy. I'm satisfied with them."

"10 days of rehab after spinal surgery. The staff was great. PT and OT everyday got me back on my feet. The place was clean and well taken care of. The food some good and some I did not care for. Overall I would recommend to friends and family. No one wants to be in a rehab but if it is necessary I think you will like this place. Mary"

"We toured this community over the weekend, it was perfect for our parents. We were looking for a place that when they needed more care it was available to them. They are more independent, Dad drives and Mom only needs a care. But, if Mom or Dad needed more care say after a fall or they had a car accident,they could go to the rehab center on the same property. We checked other senior communities, none of them had a rehab or a nursing site on their properties. Almost of the other Independent and Assisted Living communities when asked the question of what would happen if say Dad went into the hospital and needed a nursing home, were would they go. All of them didn't want to talk about that, saying lets not talk about that if it's not going to happen. Well, we are thinking ahead for our parent's future. When pushed the other senior communities said "Millcroft". That's why our parents will be moving into this senior community. "

"From the very beginning to the last day of my mom being here was awesome. The staff Jade, Mackensie, and the nutrition staff were amazing. Due to my moms illness, she has stayed at other facilities, but I am thankful for Manor Care. Rooms and patients bathrooms were cleaned. Very caring doctors and socialworker staff communicated on everything that involved my mom. I would recommend a love one staying here. The only thing that needed improvement is the food served to residents. My mom wouldn’t eat the meals because food was not appealing, and she only ate the tuna everyday. They have a very caring attitude towards the residents . "

"My wife and I reserached this property. The facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was great looking assisted living it was like being on a cruise ship and very luxury. The only thing is that is little pricey. "

"My daughter was here for reabilition. When she was hit by a car.They are a verygood nursing home.very expert.Took reall good care of her.Now she can walk again.Has been doing well for the past 15 to 20 years.I recomend this nursing home to very one. "

"My father was in the independent-living part of Stonegates. He's in their healthcare wing now, and the nursing staff is extremely attentive. If you're in the independent living, it's like living in a resort, and it's quite a nice place to live. Every Friday during the summer, they do barbecue for all the residents. They do field trips to the theater, movies, ice cream parlors, and weekly runs to the grocery store nearby. They have bocce ball, a putting green, tai-chi, bingo, sing-alongs, and they bring in musicians. It's fantastic; I wish I could live there now. "

"I visited Newark Manor. My dad was also there eight years ago. It's nice, small, and nothing fancy, but they care for their patients. Everything looked very good. The appearance was nice and clean. They have an exercise area."

"The staff is very friendly and my dad is being taken car of very well. Each resident has his or her own room to be in. The facility is very clean and as soon as i walk in the have hand sanitizer to wash my hands. My dad also has his own tv to watch when hes there. My overall satisfaction with the facility is pretty good. "

"She loved it there. In all the dozens of times I visited, I never once got anything other than a positive impression. The staff were very friendly, and also quite professional. They had a diverse staff, which was good because while it was primarily a jewish nursing home, there were people of all backgrounds there. The facilities were excellent, and in great repair. Everything seemed very clean, but it didn't feel sterile and drab like a hospital. They had excellent medical personnel on staff which made be feel comfortable to leave in the evening, knowing that my loved one was in good hands. I would certainly consider the Kutz Home, over any and all other options for future situations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Wilmington, Delaware area. If you want your elderly loved one to feel comfortable, and be well cared for, the Kutz Home is certainly the right place. "
