Assisted Living Reviews for Cokesbury Village

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My parents were 92 yrs old when they moved to Cokesbury from out of state, a most difficult time of life to transition. They experienced independent living, assisted living and skilled care. I would rate them 5 star, excellent without question. They made friends, were happy and well cared for. The staff and administration is kind, considerate, professional and top notch. I had no complaints only praise for every aspect of their care and stay. The accommodations were superb and both were in their element and very pleased. I would highly recommend this facility/home to anyone.

I have friends living at Cokesbury, and they like it a lot. It's a little older, but well-maintained, and they have a different pricing scheme. They want more upfront, including monthly medical care, whether we need it or not. The studio apartment looked like a townhouse. There was a concert going on when I was there.

I visited Cokesbury Village and I loved it. It’s a nice area and an upscale facility. The place is well taken care of. The clientele is all professional retirees. It’s one of the nicer ones in the area for sure. It’s comfortable but upscale, so it’s a lot more formal. I was pleased with the visit.

My wife and I reserached this property. The facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was great looking assisted living it was like being on a cruise ship and very luxury. The only thing is that is little pricey.

Cokesbury is very upscale and modern-looking. The building was much more modern. The rooms were a fairly good size and had a balcony. I think they were pretty nice. They seem like they had a lot going on, lots of activities, like they have a woodworking shop for men, so that was nice. The staff was very nice. It seems that the residents there were people who had money.

What we like best about the facility is it's proximity. The pricing of all the nursing homes are pretty competitive but this one is three miles from my house. We like the staff, they're nice people and there were a lot of programs there. They have a fitness center, swimming pool, jacuzzi, theater, auditorium, it just goes on and on. They have a lot there and they are doing a very nice job. I am absolutely confident my mom will be happy when she moves in.
Continuing Care Retirement Community Reviews for Cokesbury Village

I am/was a resident of this facility
I live in Cokesbury Village. I have lived in this place for 10 years. It's for about 400 people, and they have everything from independent residents to health care residents. I have a small cottage. We have apartments in the main building and cottages of various sizes, smaller ones and 3-bedroom cottages. There is a wide variety. We are very pleased with the staff. Right now, we can't do anything, but they have a lot of gymnastics and things like that, a lot of music, movies, groups that come in to entertain us, and lots of lectures.
It is a very lively community, but right now, we are very careful. We have a wonderful library. The library is really one of the highlights, and it is one of the best that I have seen anywhere. We have a small swimming pool and a fitness room, and in both of them, only one or two people are allowed at the same time. They are planning to build an extra large kind of indoor tennis room. We have wonderful grounds with lots of gardening. There's a wide selection of food and quite a bit of meatless like vegetarian meals. It's a little bit more expensive than many others, but I think the facility is wonderful.

The rooms at Cokesbury Village were very big, I could even take my dining room set. There were small cottages around like townhouses. It was a very big place, and there were too many people. The woman who toured us and the entrance lady were very nice and helpful. They had a beauty salon and a library. They were doing a lot of construction at the time. The room only had a kitchenette, a stove and a very tiny refrigerator. It's very social and it's great if you who would like to join different clubs. The building was tall, it had a beautiful view of Wilmington, and it had a balcony, which was very nice.
