Describe the overall population of assisted living residents at Cinnamon Park Assisted Living. What is their average age? What are their favorite things to do?
The average age at the moment is 80 years old, even though we have residents whose ages range from 50 years and up. The residents enjoy the beautiful grounds and gardens of the flowers and vegetables. They enjoy going on outings to various places that they have requested.
What programs or activities does Cinnamon Park Assisted Living offer to enrich residents' well-being?
Outings to Black Hawk, picnics, drives in the summer as well as in the fall to the mountains to see the change of the seasons. They enjoy going to local restaurants for lunch and shopping in different stores as well as consignment shops.
What places are near Cinnamon Park Assisted Living or within walking distance for assisted living residents to enjoy?
Cinnamon Park is in a residential neighbor so there are not lots of places for them to go with out walking some distance, but we do have beautiful grounds for them to enjoy walking around outside on the property.

Cinnamon Park does a have van that we use for activities, but we can help arrange transportation to doctor appointments if needed.

About Cinnamon Park Assisted Living
Recently updated with new carpet, furnishings, lighting, and décor, Cinnamon Park Assisted Living Residence looks and feels like a large, single-family residence. Beautifully landscaped grounds draw residents outdoors to relax, take a walk or visit with friends and family. It is situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Longmont close to main street shops, restaurants, and medical facilities. Residents enjoy bus outings, luncheons, BBQs, garden parties, and garden freshly grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Cinnamon Park also hosts an annual rummage & bake sale to support the resident activity fund.
Cinnamon Park creates a resident-centered atmosphere that promotes personal independence and choice with a sense of security and well being. An electronic medication system is also used to increase med-pass accuracy and positive outcomes for our residents.
Residents are able to direct the planning of their daily activities according to their own interests and needs. Although they may need some assistance with dressing, bathing or other personal activities, they retain their dignity and independence. Basic support services include home-cooked meals, snacks, housekeeping, laundry and activity programming. Medication monitoring or administration is provided according to individual need. Support services such as home health nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, hospice services and counseling are coordinated in an atmosphere that promotes a personal sense of safety and well-being. Your personal physician and you decide which services are appropriate and we will make the arrangements.
