"Hillcrest of Loveland is excellent. We moved my mother there. We like everything about it, and it's very nice. The ambiance is great. The rooms are excellent; they're just the right size. The meals are excellent and very good. The security is very good as well. The activities are very good. It is a very good value and is just right for our budget at about $2,700 per month. "

"It is hard to find more quality places that have an opening but thankfully, Sterling House happened to have one available for my dad. The place is as good as their staff. They're doing very well. He has a two-room unit wherein it has a bedroom and a separate living room. It is a more like an apartment, which is what we wanted for him, but he still has the same services as the assisted living. He still has all the meals, the supervision, and the activities, all those things, they have all that available for him, so that has been good. My dad had a stroke so he needs some assistance and so it is nice that they have that there. "

"I toured Greeley Village. This one was nice. It was very spacious and had lots of room for the people to move around in and do things. They even had an outdoor playground for grandkids or whatever, so that was nice. They had a private room. This one was fully loaded. They could get food or drink any time, and snacks. They had a couple of different menus, so they had a static menu, which was the same every day. They could get burgers and fries or pizza, whatever the normal foods are. They also had another menu that would change with the meals, and they would have two options for each meal. They would have like two entrees and stuff they could pick, so that was nice."

"My interaction has been good. The community seems to be OK, I think they keep my in-laws safe, and they feed them good food three times a day. They offer a lot of activities. They have a 1-bedroom apartment; it’s pretty small around 400sq.ft, but it’s adequate for what they need. In fact they’re getting ready to move in to the larger 1-bedroom when they are available. The grounds are nice and nicely maintained with tall grass, and around the outside of the building there’s a big courtyard in the center of the building. The building is actually just a big square. The courtyard is nicely landscaped, and they got a lot of trees and stuff, but the parking could be better. It’s not the best parking situation for visitors, but it’s OK. They have exercise classes, Wii bowling, bingo, church services on the weekend, and I think once or twice during the week. They have other reading times and other games, and I think they have been singing Christmas carols this month."

Gardens Care Senior Living - Memorial Park is a great senior living community that can house both Assisted Living (open now) and Memory Care (opening soon) on one beautiful property with 3 unique homes. "I came to this assisted living home to see my Great Aunt Clara. She is a seventy-year-old resident there and I had never seen the facility she was staying at. I didn't think it would be that great of a place but it was actually quite comforting and cozy. The food was always made fresh and was eaten in formal dining areas, there were many staff members who were always present, there were many activities for the residents to do, and the decor was very friendly. Some of my fears of registering my great aunt into a facility was that she might be lonely with nothing to do; however, she was quite happy and had many friends, all of the staff were exceedingly caring and loving to all the residents. Though, I wasn't very fond of the exercise programs. Some seemed to be slightly too complicated for the residents that were engaged in the activities. However, I was very happy with everything else. My great aunt is especially happy, and that in itself makes me happy. "

"I felt that the staff at Spring Creek provided excellent care for my mother in law. It was a very rough process getting her to agree to live in a nursing home, but the staff at Spring Creek made her feel welcome and loved. No nursing home is perfect and there are going to be issues every once and a while. I felt like the staff and the new administrator were very attentive and responsive to my questions and concerns. Originally my mother in law was going to go to Spring Creek for rehab, but ended up not being safe at home. I don't know what my family would have done without the direction, care, and compassion from their staff. My mother and law has since passed away, but I appericate the dedication the staff showed to her care. "

"I had a pretty brief visit at Residence at Oakridge, and it was the least expensive of what I was looking at. The building looked a little older, but clean. Had my father wanted to stay, he might have ended up there. "

"I bought a cottage at MacKenzie Place. It's a two-bedroom cottage. I chose this place because there is no maintenance that I have to do, and I would be able to interact with people in my age group. It would be convenient if I need more services, they are there. I believe they do have activities, but I haven’t explored that very much. "

"The Good Samaritan Society is a very clean, very comfy, very homey, and very nice facility. The people are so kind, gentle and very honest. They assess and evaluate the individual to make sure it's a good fit for both the individual and the facility, which I think is very important. And they've handled that well. "

"Fox Meadows was a small private assisted living place, and it's very fabulous. They only take a total of 8 residents, and right now, they only have 6. It's a very good fit for my sister because with her memory problems, a larger place would've been harder for her to learn. It's a very caring and wonderful place. There's an exercise room and a number of exercise machines located throughout the property. It's a very pastoral setting with horses in the place. They bring in singers, and people do artwork. The first time I saw it, I said to myself I want to move in here right now, and I don't even need assisted living; that's how nice it is. I wish they were able to continue on when my sister finally ends up on Medicaid. "

"The whole places feels very reminiscent of home. Quaint little place, very well set up. The decor was perfect and the walls were full of pictures, the place never looked or felt empty at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and always in a very cheery mood. The dining area was very well set up, maintained, and had good food frequently. Staff was always trying to get the residents to join in on social activities, and many residents participate in these. There are always card games going on, such as bridge, and many board games for entertainment of the residents. The room size is not too big, not too small, seems just right. All in all, a very homely place, with great food, activities, and an excellent, caring staff. "
