"My father-in-law moved to The Lodge at Greeley. It was a very nice and clean place. They supply refrigerators, washers, and dryers. The staff is caring and attentive. They gave us the schedule of activities. They have a little patio and a little walkway with a garden."

"Brookdale Greeley was very nice. Out of the four places, this probably would have been the one I would have liked for my mother to be at. Their rooms were decently sized. They had a nice closet. The staff answered all the questions that I had. She was just a nice person. I looked at the menu, and it was nice."

"I liked Hillcrest of Loveland. I have friends there. I liked their apartments because they have their own washer and dryer, and they seemed to be a little more spacious than other places. The person who gave the tour was very helpful, very nice, and gave me the information I needed. I don't know about the food; I think you get two meals a day, and you have one meal where you do your own, but most of the apartments have kitchens. I didn't see any activities when I went there. I think they are friendly, it's very homey, it's clean, everybody greets you in the hallway, even if you don't know them, and they always say hello to you. They have exercise rooms."

"My parents moved into Brookdale North Loveland. It has been good. They are happy to be there. The staff members have been very responsive to all of my questions. They were quick to turn around or help me with any paperwork I needed to get done. They were very friendly, helpful, educational, open, and willing to assist at any point in time in the whole process. My parents seemed very happy with the food. They didn't complain. They have a calendar published daily or throughout the month, and then they try to engage them. It's optional. They have a decent number of activities and a variation of them. They don't force them to attend, but they encourage them to. They have a salon, a courtyard, a sunroom, and a family gathering place."

"Brookdale Mariana Butte was a very nice facility. It was very well put together. They had a lot of nice activities. The director lady who took us on a tour was fun. The apartments we toured were newly remodeled, so they were very nice. They had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a stovetop. The staff was very animated and full of energy and positivity. There was also nothing dirty or off-putting about that place."

Gardens Care Senior Living - Memorial Park is a great senior living community that can house both Assisted Living (open now) and Memory Care (opening soon) on one beautiful property with 3 unique homes. Each home can house up to 16 residents and this is instrumental for our residents to receive exceptionally personalized care. "I came to this assisted living home to see my Great Aunt Clara. She is a seventy-year-old resident there and I had never seen the facility she was staying at. I didn't think it would be that great of a place but it was actually quite comforting and cozy. The food was always made fresh and was eaten in formal dining areas, there were many staff members who were always present, there were many activities for the residents to do, and the decor was very friendly. Some of my fears of registering my great aunt into a facility was that she might be lonely with nothing to do; however, she was quite happy and had many friends, all of the staff were exceedingly caring and loving to all the residents. Though, I wasn't very fond of the exercise programs. Some seemed to be slightly too complicated for the residents that were engaged in the activities. However, I was very happy with everything else. My great aunt is especially happy, and that in itself makes me happy. "

"I toured Balfour at Longmont. It's a beautiful facility. It's a very good tour. I saw staff interacting with the residents. The rooms were very small. The place looked very well-kept, clean, and in good condition. The dining area looked beautiful and inviting. The one thing is they're very expensive, and their deposit is unusually high."

"Columbine Commons is very close to where I live and they had space because they had just opened, so the place is brand new. They transport residents to doctor's appointments and they also have pedicurists and manicurists who come in every so often. They also have beauticians who come in for haircuts. They have an activity director and they put out a monthly calendar of events. They had started a barbecue once a month, inviting relatives and friends of the residents, friends and family of the staff, and it is a free barbecue. So they do offer a lot of services. I've had a few meals there and it is pretty good food. It is restaurant style, so that they have a menu that the residents choose from and they always have a special for each meal. The staff is very caring. They aim to please and make sure that things are running smoothly. The nursing staff is wonderful. They give out the medications at each meal and before the residents go to bed. It is also my understanding that the residents are checked on about every two hours during the night. They do have a button that they wear around their necks and if they are in need of a nurse or a CNA, they can press that button and somebody is there immediately. My husband does need oxygen 24/7, so there is always somebody there to fill the oxygen tank. He gets his laundry done there and the cleanliness is good. Of course, it is new, so everything is spotless and shiny. But the staff is very, very good. My husband seems to be happy there. "

"Both of my grandparents lived there for quite some time before they died. It was always a pleasant experience to visit them. The staff was kind and knew my entire family by name. The other residents were always happy and glad to see the staff members as well as my grandparents. The facility was clean and looked nice. Overall it seemed like a really nice place to live and both of my grandparents were happy during their stay. The only flaw of the facility was that some of the patients were young but had cognitive or mental impairments. Some of these residents were best described as creepy. Even the staff members were made uncomfortable by them. Therefore, as a young woman, it was sometimes uncomfortable for me to walk around the halls alone. However, the staff was aware of these residents and tried to keep them out of empty hallways because, even though they were not a threat to anyone, they often made one feel uncomfortable. "

"I have visited Mackenzie Place. They were very helpful. It was very nice. They have everything. They have tours. They have a workout place, a swimming pool, and a restaurant. "

"I had a pretty brief visit at Residence at Oakridge, and it was the least expensive of what I was looking at. The building looked a little older, but clean. Had my father wanted to stay, he might have ended up there. "

"I have been to Grace Pointe Continuing Care Senior Campus for rehab. We did some interaction with their assisted living residents, we played games like Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and games like that with their residents. And I enjoyed it. Their meals were fabulous. And they have a special diet; I have a special diet request, and they were able to do that. They did it willingly with a smile. For every meal, I even had my choice of items I wanted within the realm of my restrictions. They made the plate very, very presentable and very nice. Activities were going on all the time. There were areas that you could go on just like a puzzle room, that you could go and just work on puzzles. Every day, every afternoon, they had an activity director and she would do something different. She might do nails one day, and she might do hair the next day, just some little personal touch that made you feel better while you were there. They charge a little bit more, but you get what you pay for."

"The experience was very positive, there were a lot of amenities for the residents, and a lot of staff on hand to field issues. The facility itself was in very good condition, it was clean, presentable, and had a very welcoming, calming interior as well. My Great Aunt seemed to be very comfortable there, and was able to watch her daytime television shows, and also socialize with her friends in a communal area in the facility during the day. She was cold at one point, and asked for a blanket, and was immediately given one. "
