We went to see Arbor Vista, as my friend was looking at places for his mother to live. The garden like park atmosphere was soothing and looked like a great place to spend time during the day. The receiving area had fresh flowers and beautiful furnishings. The interior appeared clean, bright and fresh. Seniors can socialize, read, play games, relax and make arts and crafts in the nicely designed communal rooms. Outings and events scheduled include dining at local eateries, to art museums and the library. The activity calendar is regularly updated to include Pasadena's many activities. Private units were all homey, clean and bright, with everything necessary for the resident's comfort. Aerobics and yoga classes are offered. The staff at the facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. Seniors can use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Residents can choose from many options on the restaurant like menu. Regular snacks are offered whenever desired. The food choices all looked nutritious and appetizing. It was clear that the staff at this facility provides understanding, compassionate and attentive care for all of its residents.
