My sister is in here. It's a fantastic place. Meals and transportation are free. They got a lot of good people there. You come and go as you please. There's no lockdown. I have no complaints. If you have any issues, they come up and fix it. She has a studio apartment, and there's one other door in there, and that's the bathroom door, and there's a window. It's 20 feet deep, 16 feet wide. She's got a TV and a sofa, a bathroom, a little kitchenette, a microwave, and a little apartment-sized refrigerator. There is no stove. Utilities, laundry, and transportation are all taken care of. They have bingo and board games. They have staff who read to people. They watch TV together. Some people who are musically inclined can go downstairs in the dining area and bring an instrument and play music. They've got a nice-sized library. There are a few things that they can do a lot better, but that's the business. They have too many people to take care of. The staff is excellent. People at the front desk are really good and knowledgeable, and the staff who do the cleaning and fixing are on the spot. Housekeeping is great. They have a housekeeping service that comes in. She's a vegetarian, so she inquires what they're gonna have, and they really work with her. If you have special needs, you just go down and talk to them, and they say yes and no and whatever. She does get her breakfast, lunch, and dinner down there. It's an old building. Other than that, the bones are still straight, the windows don't leak, and they want to redo a lot of things. As far as the rent, I believe what she's paying is very reasonable. There are a lot of other places that are a lot more expensive. They're meeting the needs of some of the poor folks who don't have a lot of money. They're doing a good job.

It was very nice. The lady that helped us was very, very informative. A lot of the residents there seemed very friendly. It's also right next to a bus stop even though I have my own car. But I wouldn't mind taking the bus down the hill to the grocery store and then come back up. It's in the heart of Chula Vista, and that's what I liked about it. The room was very, very nice. I was looking for more of a larger studio or a one-bedroom. The staff showed me the dining room and the elevator, but they didn't have a one-bedroom that I was interested in available at that time. They had a very small refrigerator in the room, but they didn't have a sink except for the one in the bathroom, and that was it. I was looking for more like a little kitchenette or at least counter space, but no, they didn't have that. The staff said they provide meals in the dining room. But it was a wonderful place. I like it. The staff who gave the tour was the receptionist. She stepped up and she showed me and my cousin around. She was very, very good. She's Hispanic and very, very nice.

I will be an official resident. They accepted my cats. The rent is reasonable. The services are nice. They provide the meals for you. All things are contained. They don't nickel and dime you a little for this and a little for that. It's all a nice efficient rate, so I know what I'm paying.

My friend has moved in. It's pretty nice. It's just as good as all the other places. I think it's got a four-star rating like all the other places I looked up. His room is smaller than I thought it would be. It has a small closet, a bathroom, extra sink bar place, and it has a space underneath where you can put a mini-refrigerator. The manager seems to be like a nice guy, but he's not available all the time. They offer three meals a day. They got a restaurant-like setting for the dining area and they've got a menu. Unfortunately, my friend can't eat normal food. He has to eat very soft food or liquids because his throat has shrunk, and they're trying to accommodate him. This place has a lot of facilities and activities. They include everything except TV. They have cable in the room available, but each person has to pay for their own. They have a library, an activity room, and the pool table. It looks like there's plenty of stuff to do there. They're supposed to provide transportation for appointments and stuff, but so far we haven't trusted them. I've been taking him to all his appointments because I know exactly where he has to go. It's an older place, but they keep it pretty clean and everything. It's a pretty low price. It was the lowest-priced place.
