"We have had a one-year relationship with Absolute Home Health for my now 94 year old mother-in-law that has been excellent in every respect. A highly independent, meticulous, bright, career woman with very high standards for herself and others, she has seen her universe shrink bit by bit over the past year. From refusing help of any kind, she now relies on full-time care and supervision. This has been extremely difficult for her to accept and heartbreaking for us to observe. Having previously engaged an agency for my own parents that often fell short of expectations, I did not anticipate the positive experience we have had with SelectCare. The agency is comprised of a truly professional, experienced, insightful, and caring staff from the director to the wonderful nurses, clerical staff, and caregivers. Absolute Home Health helped us find a visiting medical practice that we have also been very happy with and, importantly, understands how to negotiate the long-term care insurance process. When it was time to recommend other interventions (including hospice), the nursing director was forthright and compassionate. All communication was handled in a timely fashion, and we never had to worry about coverage when a regular caregiver needed a day off. In sum, Absolute Home Health is a "boutique" agency that met all our needs and desires, and we are able to recommend it enthusiastically and without hesitation."

"Scripps Home Health Care is wonderful. My husband used it for a month while Medicare covered it. We had the physical therapist come 8 times then my husband had an occupational therapist come a couple of times and then he had a home health aide come about 4 or 5 times. The physical therapist was wonderful; we loved her. No complaints. "

"The VA has chosen Advanced Home Health, but so far we're not impressed with them. They should be doing the bathing, wrapping my father's legs, IMRs, and bloodwork. The whole thing is a mess, they lied, and it's not been very up to par with what we'd like my father's care to be. Perhaps they should tell my father the truth, don't refuse to have their IMRs done, show up on time, show up when they're supposed to, and do the job. When you do get here, have the equipment you need. They don't have the equipment and it hasn't been good."

"WORST WORST WORST company ever. Patients beware. My dad had to have a pump on for 9 days. It was very intricate and the first day they were hours late to help set it up. When the alarm went off at 3am couldn't get ahold on anyone to help turn it off. No return call the nect day either. The final day they were supposed to come out and remove the pump. No one ever called or returned our calls so we had to go into his oncologist to have it done. FInally, they come sauntering up to the door...THE NEXT DAY....and we told them it was done...you were a day late and if someone would call us back they would know this. We have had FOOD SERVICE better than their health care service and this is a very sick cancer patient. I would not refer them to my worst enemy. "
