"The Manor House at Wedgewood Estates was quite nice. We saw the dining room, and they explained how the food service went. The dining room seemed spacious enough. For breakfast, they had quite a wide menu. I believe at other times there was usually a choice of entrée, and I think they signed up for which entrée they wanted a day ahead of time, which seemed like a good system. I thought the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spacious enough. It was clean and well-organized. They would do your laundry as well as clean the room and all that sort of thing. They had a calendar of activities that included some exercise classes every week and different things. Also, they would take people to appointments and to other excursions around town. "

"It’s been 6 years since Dad moved in at Primrose. It's a very nice place, and I would recommend this facility pretty much to anybody. They have people come in for entertainment, and they have bingo. They also take the residents to the store. In summertime, they take them out to go fishing. We’ve been extremely happy with the facility. "

"We stayed at Dayspring Assisted Living for five weeks. I needed a place to recover from a complete hip replacement, and my husband couldn't take care of things, so we both went out there for short-term respite care. It was not as fancy as the other places, but the food was good. The people who take care of you were very nice, friendly, and helpful, and they had a nursing staff 24/7. It was fine, and it served our purposes well. They did things like they would have different groups come in and do Bingo with the residents once a week, and, of course, they provided transportation for any problems or things that you needed to do in town, like doctors' appointments and that sort of thing. Also, they would take people out probably twice a week; for example, they had breakfast at Danny's one morning. Every other week, they'd take a morning group and an afternoon group to Walmart for any shopping they wanted to do. They took people fishing, and then they had two different cookouts. They have a pavilion where they can cook outside. They had a group came in and brought like a picnic thing, and they cooked hotdogs and hamburgers on their grill out there. They had different common areas where you could go and watch TV with somebody or put together a puzzle, or you could go out on the porch and watch the birds, the deer, and whatever. "

So far, the nursing staff and administration have been wonderfully accommodating and seem genuinely interested in making sure my grandma will be comfortable and well-taken care of. "The staff from The Willows at Willard was very nice. They took good care of my stepfather. The rooms were very pretty. They’re very nice rooms. They’re decorated very nicely. My stepfather thought the food was very good. They had a lot of activities, but he wasn’t able to do a lot right then. He did some and he enjoyed them. They had group of people meet and they had people come in and sing. They had a lot of different things. "

"I was able to be a visitor on several occasions to Hillside Acres Nursing Home facilities. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and the grounds. Besides looking clean, it also had a clean smell to it. I have been in others, that one you walked in there was a distinct aroma that I did not experience here.The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I observed inter-reaction between staff and the residents and never say anything that I didn't like. I was there as the residents were getting ready to go to supper and everyone seemed eager to go to the dining area. I assumed that they enjoyed the food that was repaired for them. I liked the courtyards for the residents in the middle of the building, so that there were several entrances and exits to the courtyard, but no way to get out of the facility. The various residents had there area very personalized, even having plants and bird feeders hanging in the courtyard outside of the room windows. I was impressed in the facility and the staff members. "

"I have been very happy with my experience with Orchard Park. My Mom has really transitioned into the community. The caring staff have made sure all of her needs are met, and make her feel at home. She has a nice room, that she has furnished with things from home. She is really happy that she can have her dog with her. "

"My father-in-law received good care while he was here. The facility did under go renovations and sometimes the noise and dust made it difficult for the patients to sleep. I did find my father-in-law shoved in corners by the tv. It did take several months for the final payment to arrive. "

"My cousin was in The Ohio Eastern Star Home for rehab. They have this nice facility. The people were all friendly and willing to help. They care about their residents. The food I think was very good, and my cousin did okay with the food. Their family could eat with them. In the section that she was in, they had a bird cage with nice birds for the people to enjoy. All I saw was the rehab center for exercising. They have different buildings where residents can be. In the dining area, there was a puzzle that anybody could work on."

"Bennington Glen is an assisted living facility located approximately half an hour north of Columbus Ohio. It is situated on a small hill with a very pleasant view overlooking a pond and large fields.There is on-site therapy and rehabilitation equipment with friendly and helpful staff. The whole facility is on one floor which is good for ease of access in a wheelchair or with a walker. All of the staff I had interactions with, from the nurses to the assistants, were very helpful and intelligent. More importantly, the residents I spoke with all had positive things to say about the facility and the staff, which is not always the case for these facilities.I have visited many other assisted living facilities over the years and in my experience with I was very surprised with the level of rapport the staff and residents have here. I got the feeling that the staff genuinely cares for their residents.In my opinion Bennington Glen is a very fine assisted living facility in central Ohio and I would have no qualms about having a family member choose it for their recovery. Easily a 5 star facility. "
