"Wedgewood Estates Garden were for independent living, which included a meal and where you live, in separate little cottages. It included weekly cleaning and one meal every day, although you could purchase additional meals, and, of course, the upkeep of the cottage itself is done for you; you don't have to go out and fix the roof or do anything yourself. Part of the package was that somebody would come in and clean the place once a week. They had washers and dryers, so you could do your own laundry. You could eat one meal a day at the Manor House with people in the assisted living, and that was included in the package, but if you wanted a second meal you would pay extra for it. They had little kitchenettes there, so you could have your own breakfast stuff and cook things yourself too. "

"Primrose is a beautiful and spacious facility.The staff are all very friendly and professional. Their focus appears to me to really be the residents. From the well appointed dining room to the library and retro ice cream parlor,it is all very well done and a very welcoming environment. They have welcomed my mother with open and loving arms and are seeing to her every need. From our first phone call for information with Samantha, we have been very impressed and happy!"

"I went to Brethren Care Village. It was nice. The lady that I spoke to explained everything. She walked me around and she showed me one of the rooms. She was very nice and very informative. The rooms were very nice. There was room enough for a small couch, a small chair, and a stand for the TV. The bedroom was a nice size, and the bathroom was very nice. So yeah, it was very spacious. What stood out to me at Brethren Care Village was the 24-hour care that the residents get."

"We visited The Willows at Willard. It's a very nice and clean place, and the people were very helpful and kind. I would 100 percent recommend them, and I would like to go there when I'm older. We looked at their independent living facility for my mom and we saw their nursing part too. It looked like a 4-star hotel, it's very nice. The staff that we met with were not pushy, they followed up but it wasn't like there was high pressure, and they answered any questions. They saw us two different times and took us through everything, they're very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information, and gave us ways where we can follow up and email them, which they answered promptly. They also offer house cleaning. It's all very nice and very well-run. They have what they call a clubhouse for independent living, and on Fridays, they have a cocktail hour where they have snacks, but not necessarily alcohol. Everybody that lived there could come to the community room where they have different activities like bingo, cooking classes, and different things. You can either be by yourself in your apartment or you can go down there and be with other people."
