"My mom was at Winchester Terrace and I didn't like that place. When you talk to one of the staff about something and then you call back to check on it, you get someone else that has no idea what you're talking about. It was pandemic time, though, and they had to move my mom from her room to a different room. They lost 50% of her clothing and we called several times. They told us that they found some, but it was just a small amount from what was still missing. They said they would keep looking, but we never heard from them again. She laid in her room for three days, and nobody came to help her with anything. That's why we ended up taking her out and bringing her to our house. Now, she's doing much better. Some of the staff were very friendly and very cooperative. It just depends on who you talk to. Some seemed to care and act on it and some didn't. She was supposed to get physical therapy twice a day and we found out she hadn't even had it yet. We had to stay on top and let them know that we were watching them. The place wasn't very clean either. The floor in her room needed to be mopped. There was no activity other than her therapy and bathing her and stuff like that, which might be partly for her situation."

"After my dad was hospitalized, he was placed in Liberty Nursing Center for rehab. Everybody seems really caring except for one nurse who didn't want to say anything except that he was fine, but she wouldn't give me any information when I would call. My dad was in a small room with a bathroom, a twin bed and a TV. He was doing therapy every day in his room. "

"My mother went home because she's through with her therapy. Everything was okay when she was inside the facility, and we have the same people coming in the house now to take care of her in the evening. The staff were hospitable and very responsive to my mom's needs. It's also a clean place. My mother was happy and contented, although she complained the food was bad. My mother was a cook and a supervisor in a cafeteria. She never went to the dining room; she ate in her room. I think they should improve on the taste of the food. Perhaps make it better and warmer because she was two doors from the kitchen and it came cold. "

"West View is a fine place. Part of it is a brand-new facility, but some parts are older. They can look after people with serious dementia and Alzheimer's. It's just a nice location on a hill with a beautiful view. I've been in the rooms, and there's quite a variety. In some of them, there is a bedroom with a separate bathroom and a kitchenette. Others have a separate room for the bedroom and a small living room with a kitchenette where they have a fridge and maybe a microwave. They're reasonably sized. Five or six people we know had been in there and were treated well. The food is pretty good. I've been in their dining room several times, and you don't see people leaving the food, so it can't be too bad. They also have a bar where you can have ice cream or coffee outside the dining area. They have a cinema and a chapel with a resident minister there. They also have an exercise program. I've seen my friend doing exercise in a big room as a group; there might be 15 or 20 in the room who do that. Our group goes there every Tuesday for Bible study, and they're very generous in allowing us to use a conference room that's just adjacent to the dining room and providing us with coffee. The staff seems to be very nice. "

"Crestwood Care Center is a very soothing place. The facility is very clean and everything was nice and calm. They have a very big area with beautiful birds. They had beautiful music playing all the time. They really took good care of the residents there. Nothing was rushed. The tour was a very nice experience. I really like the cleanliness and how calming it was. "

"I went to the Avenue at Wooster. It’s clean and nice, it was decorated tastefully, and the people seemed content. The apartments looked like they would be pleasant. I think they had nice activities. The rooms had a bedroom, living room, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. The residents looked nice. I saw a library where they could get books and such, they had a dining room setup like a party, decorated in red and back, and it was really tastefully done."

"When I visited the nursing home everyone was very kind and welcoming. The building looked and felt very clean and well maintained. Also in the rooms the nurses have very good bed side manor and checked on my grandmother numerous times while I was there. While I was there also many of the other residences at the time moved around the home and visited and gave the place a overall good feeling inside it. Another important thing was the fact that the staff at the home new the residences by name, they were not just names on a clipboard the nurses had personal connections with each of them and truly cared about them "

"The facilities are well maintained, the location allows the residents to go a nearby pond where they can feed ducks, and can also fish in a catch and release manner. Every year the activities director along with volunteer employees take the residents to the fair. The volunteers guide residents around the fairgrounds while the Director makes sure the residents get to go where they choose. Along with the fair trip, every month the employees and director take the residents to local restaurants that are decided by a counsel of residents or sometimes the director. The facilities are incredibly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. When ever an issue is brought up, for example say my grandmother's room was too cold and no one had noticed her complaints that day, I asked why that was and they corrected the problem and held a training seminar on how to always ensure the comfort of the residents. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area who was in my family's situation. "

"Wayne County Care Center is very nice. The care is very good and just as good as any five-star place. They're just as caring. I would choose it for myself if I needed to. The building is much older, but it's adequate. It serves the people, and they seem happy. The staff is very nice. It is an older building, but it is kept very clean, and it doesn't have the amount of so-called softness and decorating. They need to update it. "

"Glendora Health Care Center was a small nursing home, and the location was good for all of us. As soon as we had a meeting with the staff, the nurses, and the therapists, it just seemed like a good fit for Mom and Dad. They are undergoing therapy there, and the staff is great. They treat Mom and Dad really nicely. My dad loves them all; that's why I think they're really good to them. They serve breakfast, lunch, and supper. The doctor comes to them, and they have transportation if they have to go out. "

"My husband is in Crestline Nursing Center. He complains about the food, but I don't know how it is. He's okay with the staff, and they're acceptable to me. They're giving him rehab, he's in a semi-private room, and there's another man there with him. The dining area is down the hall, it's large, but he eats in his room. He can go play bingo, and they've got televisions for them. The atmosphere is nice."

"The staff from The Willows at Willard was very nice. They took good care of my stepfather. The rooms were very pretty. They’re very nice rooms. They’re decorated very nicely. My stepfather thought the food was very good. They had a lot of activities, but he wasn’t able to do a lot right then. He did some and he enjoyed them. They had group of people meet and they had people come in and sing. They had a lot of different things. "
