I have been to Brethren Care Village several times to visit family and attend activities. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. They are also very well organized and efficient in setting up requests for special events. Really a great staff!

I went to Brethren Care Village. It's a very, very nice place. The tour was great. The place is immaculate. There couldn't be anything else a person would need to live there. But there's a waiting list and you have to have $2500 just to get on the waiting list. If after you wait two years or three years or whatever it is, and you decide to live someplace else, they will return the $2500. The person who accommodated me was likable. She was very informative and very kind. She took her time, and she was very patient, but she was very busy as most of those people are in those places. The dining room was beautiful. They have an Olympic-sized swimming pool. It's beautiful, but you have to pay a membership fee to belong to that swimming pool. It doesn't come in the rent. There are outdoor patios everywhere. It's wooded trees. It's very nice and very scenic. There are three meals there, and you can go down anytime you want to eat.

Brethren Care Village was a very clean facility and amenities were available. The residents were friendly and satisfied. The staff was very helpful. The layout of the single room was very accommodating. They had exercise rooms, swimming, board games, and outside visits. It was very, very inviting.

I liked the individual cottages of Brethren Care Village. They had a one and a half car garage, and there's a lot of storage inside. The lady that took me through was excellent and very professional. She did a great job. The other very nice part of it was a very small glass enclosed porch in the apartment. They have activities too and there was a lady that just got back from exercising, and she was 90 years old.

Brethren Care was the best place out of the ones we visited. The staff members were really helpful. The place was laid out nice. Everything seemed up-to-date and more modern when compared to other places. They have private rooms. They have different floor plans depending on how big you want them. If a husband and wife want to live in one room together, they have bigger rooms there. They have plenty of activities. There are different people in different areas doing crafts and some exercise classes. They have a small library area with some newspapers that you can read. Since it is a complex of different levels of care, if someone is in better shape they can take them over to one of the other buildings to use the gym facility over there.

Brethren Care Village was nice and clean. They were professional, and that would be one to consider. It was well-kept and it was good. The shared room and single rooms were adequate. They had a lot of stuff going on.
