"My dad moved in. So far we've visited him outside, and it was kind of nice that we could see him, but other than peeking through his bedroom window I have no idea what the inside of the facility looks like. I think it's a good size for him; it's the size of a double bed hotel room. There's a guy named Brad there, he's extremely helpful, relatable, and I've met a handful of people there. Everybody knows my dad by name, so when I say, "I'm going to visit Dad," they know exactly who I'm talking about, and I feel like it's very personal. He said the food is OK. They told me he's playing bingo and he gets to hangout in the library or watch TV if he doesn't feel like socializing."

"It was impeccably clean and very nice. The lady who gave me the tour was terrific. She had all the information I could possibly ask for. She was fairly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the place. They do regular activities for the seniors. They had two big pool room for the residents, an exercise and therapy room, and they take the residents on outings almost every day."

"My aunt has her own little apartment here. The rooms have a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen with a little dining area. She can go down to the little dining room, and sometimes they have some activities down there. My sister said she liked the place when we were visiting my aunt. It is a nice area, and it’s close to the mall and supermarkets. "

"We toured Canton Regency. Everything looked very clean. It was just beautiful. The lady we talked to who was in charge was very informative and very easy to talk to. She made my sister feel very comfortable. We got to see a room that would be a possibility, and it was so nice. We got to see all the amenities that would be available. They were all so nice too, also. They have a theater which is like a giant screen TV, but it was still very nice. They can sign up to go on different outings. They have a library which does have a nice assortment of books. They have a dining area that looks like a hotel restaurant. It's just gorgeous."

"I toured Heritage Crossing. It's going to fit my needs very well for my mother. The rooms were nice. The pricing was fair from what I'm seeing with the market. I liked it because there were more individual residents versus couples, which made it easier for my mother. In the lobby, everything is very welcoming. I like that they have very nice gathering areas all through the facility, so family and friends can always go off into a private area with beautiful furniture or fireplaces. They have a theater room. The activities that they have are fabulous. I met the chef. The restaurant looks wonderful. There's enough to pick some off the menu without being too much. I did look at the menu. It looks like a bistro-type menu. It was very nice, chicken waffles and that kind of stuff. I think the chef makes maybe one special for the night. Then you have a couple of other choices if you want. They had a trick-or-treat there yesterday from the kids' school. Kids in the area could come through. The residents made Halloween hats and cast and costumes and we're excited to have the kids there. I was impressed, like sitting in the lobby while I was waiting to talk to the medical director about my mother's situation. The housekeeper team, they're joking around with the managers. I love that. I just thought that they all seemed to enjoy each other's company."

"Heritage Villas is a smaller facility, so you get more individual attention. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the rooms were nice, clean, and adequatly sized. The dining area was family style. They take trips out to different places. "

"I had a very good experience visiting the memory care area of Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake. The staff was very knowledgeable, and the facility looked good. They had two buildings, and all the residents have memory issues or Alzheimer's. It's all in a fenced-in area, so it's secure. They've got a courtyard that the residents can go outside to when the weather's appropriate. I wasn't too impressed with the rooms. They were small, but they try to keep the residents out in the common area most of the day. They have someone that comes in to do haircuts, they do crafts, and they have activities going on throughout the day. It's a good location too."

"My mom is a resident of St. Luke Lutheran Community - North Canton. It's right where my sister and I can be readily available. The rooms for the assisted living side are nice, modern, and clean. They've got everything that anybody would want. The people working there, so far, are very friendly and knowledgeable. My mom is quite pleased with the meals. She has participated in activities, and they've got a lot on the schedule. They have bingo, karaoke, and a chapel."

"In December of 2017, I spent 20 days in West View's nursing home while recovering from a diabetes related health issue. My room was adequate in size, with an HDTV and private bath. The staff, from the nurses and aides to the physical therapists were exceptional. They were professional and helpful, but also friendly and openly talkative. I very much enjoyed their company. I enjoyed the physical therapy, especially anything to do with a ball. :)"

"My husband's mother is in Wayne Manor. We saw her I think in January or February, but they have kinda closed the place down, and now we're waiting until we get our shots to go see her again, which we don't have yet. They weren't allowing any outside visitors in there. Nevertheless, it's very nice, they take good care of her, they're very responsive to us, and we're very happy, and very pleased with it. They have a lot of activities, but she chooses not to participate in them. They have weekly bingo games, they take them to Walmart, they take them out to eat every couple of weeks, they have church services, they have groups come in singing and entertaining, and they have Halloween parties and Christmas parties. They also have exercise every week, they get their fingernails done, and there's a beauty shop there, so if she would partake of the activities there's a lot to offer there. If I had to go to a facility, I would choose that. It is very nice, and it's smaller, and it's more personal than some of the bigger ones. The staff is very good. My mother-in-law has hearing aids but she doesn't want to wear them, so they're just very nice and very accommodating. I've never had any food, but they give them a menu to pick things from and my mother-in-law has a choice of what she wants to eat. The facility is very nice and is always clean, the snow is always cleared, the bathrooms are clean, and her room is always clean, so we are really pleased with it. They're all expensive, but they would take her to the doctor, and they'll take you to any appointments, so I would say, even though it is pricey, you get a lot of services."

"The staff is super nice which refreshing because most staff at other places are very rude with visitors. I was very satisfied with how clean and organized the facilities were here. The amount of activities that they had set up on a daily basis for the community to do is pretty extensive. It's all optional but the residents can be busy all day with these activities if they wanted. Overall this place is somewhere I wouldn't mind staying when I get older. "

"There isn't anything that I dislike about Apostolic Christian Village. I love it. My mother-in-law is happy there. She gets excellent care. I just really couldn't ask for more. They're doing a little bit of rehabilitation for her walking. They control her medications. They help her get in and out of bed, and with the toilet. They help her with just about everything. They are very caring, happy, and really liked their job. Some of the food is excellent and some of it is not to my mother-in-law's taste, but it's all acceptable. Her room is very clean. She shares a room with another person and it's excellent. You get what you paid for."

"The Village of St. Edward - Wadsworth was beautiful. The building was very new. It was only two years old, so we really liked it. The staff was lovely. We were looking for an efficiency room and it looked lovely. What I really liked about this place was they had a TV set with the special of the day on it so that people could see it. We didn't see a ton of people out when we toured it, but it was probably that time of the day."
