Hillside Acres

I was able to be a visitor on several occasions to Hillside Acres Nursing Home facilities. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and the grounds. Besides looking clean, it also had a clean smell to it. I have been in others, that one you walked in there was a distinct aroma that I did not experience here.The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I observed inter-reaction between staff and the residents and never say anything that I didn't like. I was there as the residents were getting ready to go to supper and everyone seemed eager to go to the dining area. I assumed that they enjoyed the food that was repaired for them. I liked the courtyards for the residents in the middle of the building, so that there were several entrances and exits to the courtyard, but no way to get out of the facility. The various residents had there area very personalized, even having plants and bird feeders hanging in the courtyard outside of the room windows. I was impressed in the facility and the staff members.
