"My mom moved into The Ashford of Grove City. It's a very nice community. It's brand new and very clean. The nursing staff is amazing. I'm in constant communication with the head nurse all the time about things going on with my mom. They have a really good event coordinator who does events for both senior living and the memory care unit, which I think is nice. So we were really happy with it. It's on the cheaper side of some of the other nursing homes that we visited."

"Creekside at the Village was very high end -- very nice apartments with nice balconies. The facility seemed very nice. The long term care or the rehab center is not connected, but is within the same complex. "

I've been to some other ones, and this was more reasonably priced. I saw people in the gathering areas, and they had a very nice events calendar. The rooms were very nice, too."

"I toured Kensington Place Retirement Community. I like the apartments. The assisted living and the memory care apartments were the same size as the independent living. They had a nice layout for community areas and a nice outside area where people could sit. It's very nice. The staff members were all friendly and they related well to the residents. The facility was very well made."

"Cherry Blossom Senior Living is a very nice facility. I met with a bunch of people that had family there and they said the care was great. The rooms are very nice. It's like a nice hotel room. The aides are all very friendly. It's light, bright, and clean. Because of COVID you can't go in. They have a lot of activities and a lot of amenities. They keep the residents busy. I'm very happy with where my husband is at. Once I saw this place, it was like, "This is it.""

"The Coventry Senior Living was a very new facility. So, it was in good shape and it was beautiful inside. They had a huge library space when you walk in. The lobby was nice, too. The person who took me on the tour was very thorough and very friendly. I felt like they answered all my questions. It was a place where I felt like I could put my parents and feel good about it."

"Pickaway Manor Care Center is very nice. Their rooms were set up a little better. I have a person who used to be my client that I go and see there now, and her room is set up very pretty. They also have a nice cafeteria. They eat away from the others, so they don’t eat right there with the ones that are in the rest home part of it, and they are set up in little different areas. Because in the rest home you hear so much hollering and moaning and people crying, but you don’t hear that in most of the assisted living you don’t have that."

"The Wyngate at Circleville is a new facility and it is very nice. It is just like being in a nice hotel. It is set up so nicely, and there is so much going on. I went there for a chili cook-off a week ago with the person that I visit there, and her room is just so pretty. My house has a living room with an L-shaped dining room, so that is about how her little place is set up. You furnish it yourself, and she had all new furniture in there. They have something going on all the time. Like the Friday night before I was there, they had a little karaoke thing going on. They can have beer or a glass of wine or Pepsi or whatever they wanted. They had music and dancing, so they love that. There is popcorn almost like the one you see at a movie theater all the time. That is the area where there is a huge TV. They also have Euchre, there is a room of puzzles, they have exercise, and they take them wherever they want to go. There is a bus there that will transport them, and there is a medical facility right there. It is very nice, one of the best I have ever been in."

"My mother has lived in Memory Care and Special Care at The Inn at Winchester Trails for well over a year. I live 5 miles away and visit her often. Yes it is beautiful, but, in my opinion the staff and the care she receives is by far the best we have ever encountered. (She has lived in 2 other communities previously) the Entire staff loves her and she loves them. Smiles, Encouragement, Hugs and Kisses are a norm. Her care has always been EXCELLENT. Anytime there is a change or problem, I am called 24hrs. A day. I am there often, I have NEVER seen anything but loving care of ALL THE RESIDENTS. Everyone is clean, well cared for and treated with love and respect. If a resident has a need it is addressed immediately no matter what is going on. There are nurses on duty 24/7. They are always happy to answer any questions you may have and happily do any special request you may have for your loved ones. There are many activities daily, field trips weekly. Performing Artist weekly, church services, and one on one time. Different ones gauged to different abilities of residents. I suspect that the lower grade reviews were from several years ago when Winchester first opened, it is now April 2019 and I have explored a vast number of communities and NONE can come close to the quality care The Inn at Winchester Trails provides."

"My mother is in Serenity House. The house has around five people in it, so it is more personal. The staff is great. The director and his family live upstairs. It’s in a regular neighborhood, and they at least have two people who care for all five of them. It is convenient to my house. My mother established friendships with the five ladies. They have exercises, they play games and cards, they go out to movies, and they have special nights like makeup nights. They style hair almost daily. The care is good and they brought in hospice for her which comes in once a week. "

"My father is in Liberty Village Senior Community. I like the people and I like the way it's set up. I like the way it looks, like the furniture. I like all the things that are available: the library, playroom, and activity room. He's not sitting in his room all day. He's out doing stuff, and they encourage them to do that. He complains about the food a little bit. He didn't at first, but he does now. He loves his room. He could get a bigger room for the same amount of money, but he likes the smaller room. He has a little refrigerator, his bed, a dresser and a TV. The grounds are nice. It's all landscaped. There are flowers and trees, and there are several sitting areas outside. If they're able, they can walk around the building. There's a walkway around the building. If they are capable of not leaving the property, they're allowed to go out and walk around."

"I toured The Ridge at Lancaster. It's nice and it's close to everything like grocery shopping. It's close to all the stuff. They're close to places where you can eat out, too. They had studio and one-bedroom units. But there was a miscommunication between the two of us. I thought we were accepted, but I never heard back from them again. It's still a good facility but I don't know what the situation is there."
