"I went to look at McNaughten Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and I liked what I saw when I was there. There were a lot of activities going on. There were a lot of people in the hallways, both nurses and residents. There were many caregivers, so that made me think that my mom would get good care there. We walked around, and she showed me different areas that they had. If my mom were to go there, it would be a semi-private room. They do have private rooms available for an additional cost. It's more of like a hospital type. They have a toilet and a sink, but there's a communal shower. They were showing a Tina Turner video in the activity room, so the residents were all gathered around. They do offer therapy. It's more of a traditional nursing home, but they have outside areas and a really large courtyard. They have communal areas with chairs and stuff. Everybody was friendly and nice. The facility was nice and clean, but it's just not home."

"The building is fairly clean and fairly well maintained on the inside of the building, as well as the outside areas of the building. The majority of the staff are both courteous and helpful to the members living there and very professional. The food in the facility could definitely stand to be improved though. Most of the meals served within the facility both look and smell fairly poor and very unappetizing. The outside of the building is landscaped nicely and has garden areas where residents can go outside and enjoy a bit of nature and beauty. "

"The staff at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor was excellent and very well trained. They were great with their patients. Their rooms were wonderful and they have excellent surroundings. "

"Wexner Heritage Village feels elegant, and it's sophisticated. It is a place to live and not a place to die. The staff is smart, zappy. The rooms and the dining room are very elegant and also well appointed. It was a good fit for this particular individual. It's very personal in that respect. "

"The unit we saw was assisted living. The bedroom, the living area, the bathroom, and the way it was set up were all very nice. We only saw one woman over there at the time, and she was very helpful and explained any questions we had, and showed us around the unit. There was one that was furnished to be shown with their furniture set up. It was kind of an off time when we went. It wasn't the regular person that would have shown us the unit. It was a lady from the nursing home side that showed us around. We had more interaction with the nursing home people from where we first came in the door. She was very helpful, and she got a hold of this other woman to take me to the other end. It was a nice visit and it made us feel very comfortable. They weren't pushy to get us to move there, which I appreciated right there. They were just, "This is what we have. You can make up your own mind," which I liked. They were very helpful. The facilities were nice. They had a sliding glass door on the backside of each unit where you could go out to a grassy area where you could bring your pets. They allow pets and we have two little dogs that we just couldn't get rid of or leave behind. The layout and the cleanliness were excellent. I didn't find anything wrong with the place."

"Right now, I'm in Allbridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. It's very good. They're very attentive to your needs and medical care. Their food is pretty good. They also help you follow whatever diet you're already on. Upkeep and maintenance are pretty good. They clean it just about every day. They're very quick to address any needs you might have. They have a few activities like bingo, they're making Christmas tree ornaments and stuff like that."

"I have had my mother in 6 different nursing homes. Arbors at Carrol is the first nursing I have had ZERO issues with. Not only are they doing everything right but the personal attention to detail from each staff member is so amazing. Everyone really cares. They truly hire the best and brightest employees. She has been there six months. My mom hasn't liked food at any of the nursing homes, including here, but every time I am in the food smells AMAZING. I absolutely love this place and hope it never gets bought out by a greedy corporation."

"I lived at Taylor Springs Health Campus. It's a very, very friendly community. The rehab was great. I was there for two months. And the food was somewhat good. The staff was good. The only thing is I would never order scrambled eggs in the morning because they were always cold and I could not get them to get those unless I went to the dining room. The facility was clean and very well made. The structure was great. Beautiful, beautiful inside. The activities were great. I went to the worship service. That was wonderful. They had bingo. They had movie nights. You can see a movie there. So, it was nice. They come and get you to exercise. The atmosphere was great. People were friendly. The staff would come and make sure you got to classes of any type if you wanted to go to the exercise and music. We go out to get a drink every Friday."

"I did get my dad in a rehabilitation center named Isabelle Ridgway. The staff is very good. The building is very clean. There is no smell or strange odors. The building is located across the street to one of the best hospital in the US called OSU East. I have tried the food for a couple of times personally, and it was OK. They have all sorts of activities like bingo, karaoke, checkers, and whatever else senior citizens like to do. Security is up to par because you have to ring a bell to get in. Also, if you try to walk out the building, and you are called a runaway, you have an ankle bar on your ankle. The dining area is very clean. It was OK. Of course every facility like that needs more staff. The staff stood out to me. "

"I visited Crestview to see my grandfather three times. Every time I went he seemed like he was well cared for. He did complain about the food a little. I thought the physical therapy people were doing a really good job and he seemed excited to go to therapy, which I thought was odd but nice. The place was pretty clean and the people were nice for the most part. There were a few rude nurses but I just ignored them. The only major complaint that I heard from my grandpa was that some of the nurses would get to rough with him when helping him take a bath. He said sometimes it just seemed like they did not want to help him. I thought this was a bit ridiculous which is why I gave 4 stars the staff could use some improving as far as I am concerned. He was there for 8 months and came home. "

"I cannot say enough good things about the physical therapy I received! When I arrived at Meadow Grove I could not walk. With the devotion of the therapy team I learned to walk again! It was a long journey but without the great physical therapy I received I don’t think I would be walking today! Thanks to all of the physical therapy team! Keep up the good work!"

"My mother was so scared to go to a skilled nursing facility. But the hospital and doctor told her that it would be best. She chose Abaco and we are so glad that she did. The therapy was excellent, and she got stronger and stonger everyday. The better she got the better her attitude was. And the staff was so good to her, they really catered to her care. She no longer worries about her health, because she knows that she will be cared for if something happens. She consideres Abaco her second home!!! Thanks Abaco! "
