Carroll Place was very fresh smelling, clean, welcoming, and secure. I was impressed by the way it was secure for safety. The staff who gave the tour was outstanding. She's caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, warm, and approachable. They had everything you could want in your darkest hour. We saw people eating in the dining room, and the dining room was very accommodating. What we saw when we walked by the food looked good, and the caregivers were helping people get food they needed, or extra stuff. They also have an activity room. The staff shared a whole lot of things that they do in the plan. They had a therapy room, a workout room, a hair salon, and a library.

Carroll Place had the level of care that my husband was going to need. It was clean. They had a lot of housekeeping and nurse's aides around. There were a lot of people helping each other. The staff showed me the two rooms that she had open. They were very clean and nice. The dining room was set up in a family style, with four people at a table. It was nice, and you could make the room what you wanted it. They had studio and one-bedroom units. You could pick which one you want, and the cost was not high. They had rooms where your families could come in and either bring potluck in or whatever and have a party for them. The staff greeted you when you came in and they greeted you as you were going through the facility, so it was very friendly. The upkeep was great. It was very clean.

Carroll Place was a very inviting facility. The person that took us on the tour was very upbeat, very engaging, and seems to be taking special interest in guests. They're very forthcoming with any questions that we had and very open and honest in terms of availability and in terms of what could be done and couldn't be done, and what isn't one of their normal offerings, which was good. We interacted with some staff members, they're all very engaging, very friendly, and very courteous. They have facilities like a library.

I toured Carroll Place. I would give it a 5 in terms of cleanliness and the staff. The staff was very engaged with the residents. The interactions with the staff were quite impressive to me. The cleanliness was great. There were a lot of choices there. We had dinner there, and the food was good. The residents were able to choose where they sat. There was less control of the residents. It seemed like the residents could come and go. What I would give a plus for them is that individual attention to the hobbies and interests of the residents were being taken into account rather than a one-size-fits-all.

I've been to Carroll Place when I had a friend out there, but I didn't actually take a tour. It was very nice, clean, and neat. The rooms were very nice. It had a small kitchen, quite a large room with a bed, and a place for a desk and a chair, and the bathroom was very nice and handicap accessible. I heard the food is excellent. The staff seemed very nice and attentive.

I had a friend in Carroll Place. It was really nice but kind of fancy. They had a lot of things going on, and she loved it there. They had exercise classes, outdoor activities, and took trips. They had a snack bar, a TV lounge, a beauty parlor, a barber shop, and an ice cream parlor. They had a very nice menu for their meals prepared by a chef and a very pretty dining room.
