"When I went to visit this assisted living facility with one of my friends, I was so impressed of how nice the area was. When drove passed the gated area, it appeared to look as if we were in a residential neighborhood, which I thought this was really great. There were homes or apartments building all around the community, which I was so delighted to see. There were some people walking, walking their dogs, riding bikes and even driving. Next, we went inside to visit her family member. The inside of their home was really nice and clean. At the time someone was over from the facility area cleaning the facility. Next, I asked my friend what do they do if they have an emergency and she told me that they could call someone and usually people drive around throughout the day to make sure they are safe, which is great. Also, they have a choice of where they can go to the dining area at the facility or they can have dinner at home. While we were visiting the staff members came by many times to see if we needed help with anything, which was really nice. All the staff members were nice and great about greeting along with introducing themselves. Also, they always reminded us as well as her family member that they were available if we needed any help. Last but not least, the facility even had many activities as well for them to be apart of. I would definitely recommend this facility. "

"North Little Rock or Fox Ridge is really nice. The apartments weren't anything grand, but there was a nice restaurant and nice hardwood floors in the hallways. They have a movie room with functions and things going on every day, concerts, bingo, and other things to keep them busy. There's also a rehabilitation facility in there where they can work with the residents. On the bottom floor they have a dementia area that's locked up so the residents don't wander off. The food in this community is very good."

"We encountered two types of rooms with my mother's stay; one was the equivalent of a traditional sized hotel room. The other was a slightly smaller appearing room, but it had a kitchenette. They each had their pros and cons. The open room was better for visiting with guests, but I think the room with kitchenette was more functional for mom. The food was balanced nutritionally and pretty good for cafeteria style food. There were some meals that my mother really enjoyed such as the times when the chef would make something special or when he used the outside grill. My mother also enjoyed the games, especially bingo and scrabble. I found the nurses to be responsive and knowledgeable about how my mother was doing day in and day out. There is a floor nurse named Jacquelline who was clearly good at her job, and she seemed to genuinely care for my mother, which is something money cannot buy."

"We toured Ridgemere. The place looked brand-new. It's been around for a while, but it's very nice. It's more like a country club with an assisted living price. The rooms were very spacious and nice. Everything was clean, and it was very impressive. The staff was very knowledgeable and showed us everything. It's a very good place. The availability of the food was outstanding. It wasn't just like an hour for breakfast, an hour for lunch, and an hour for dinner. They have about three hours or more for each meal, so I was very impressed about the availability."

"My husband doesn't really have enough care at Fox Ridge Estates – Bryant because they have aides that stop in once in a while and check on him. There's one who he really liked and got him what he wanted, but the rest of them probably couldn’t care less and I'm not too happy about it. For someone who's not like my husband it's probably okay, but then my husband can't see and he has hearing aids. The staff needs a little bit more supervision. My husband has been there a month before he was moved. He's in assisted living 2 where he's locked in. His room is very nice and large with a nice bathroom. Their food was delicious and he ate everything off his plate. The dining area was large and they have people bring the food out to you. They have a little exercise class and church service on Sunday afternoon. They have sing-along and Bingo. It's a nice looking place and one of the lower priced places I found."

"Brookdale Conway is nice. I liked it, but I just couldn’t afford it. The staff was very friendly, the dining area was very clean, and the apartments were nice and spacious. "

"My Aunt is a resident of Mt.Carmel Community. At the moment we are pleased with the care he is receiving there. She likes it there and says it seems like home. The building is old but the interior was clean and did not smell. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Her appearance was clean and neat. The one negative is the building is not air-conditioned sometimes. There were many fans but still very warm. At this time I'm pleased with the care my Aunt is receiving. She also seems to be eating well. "

"I looked at Stonehaven Assisted Living. It was a very friendly atmosphere. I liked the layout of their building. They shared their monthly activities calendar and I feel like there's really a lot of attention to the social life of the residents. The place was very clean and updated. The staff was very knowledgeable about the needs of the residents and interested in ways to meet those needs."

"The Blake at Chenal Valley didn't have the assisted living that we could actually look at, but we looked at a two-bedroom independent living. It was excellent. It's a brand-new facility. Everything is new and very pristine. We want to go back and look at the assisted living, but we haven't had a chance to do that since my sister has been ill. We didn't really meet any staff. We just met with one of the property managers and she gave us the tour. She was just excellent. We went to a presentation at The Blake before we visited it. They served us lunch, and it was at a restaurant, so it was wonderful. If you were in assisted living, you got all your meals. The amenities depend on what kind of care you needed. They weren't finished with the construction."

"The place is getting a little old and the price is a little less but it's still comfortable and all. The units were ok but it's just separate if you need to go to meals and you'll be exposed to the weather and that sort of thing. I looked at their apartment with 2 bedrooms and this is what my friend is in. It is quite adequate and nice. My friend is very happy there. In fact his brother moved there shortly after him. He indicated that they have what they advertise like plenty of activities inside. "

"My father has moved into Woodland Heights. He's on the independent floor. The people there are super nice and helpful. There are several activities to help him throughout the day that he can engage in and make new friends. He's having a wonderful time. It's a nice, cute little place and everybody is just so warm, welcoming, and friendly. They're very easy to contact and get in touch with and help you with any of your needs, filling out paperwork, locating a room, and helping the community. He gets two meals a day instead of three though. It's an older facility. It's not one of these brand-new ones. They have happy hour, painting classes, yoga, and chair aerobics. They have just so many activities for them."

"I did not feel comfortable at The Greenbriar on Stagecoach. They charged $20 each time to drive people to their doctors or stores. Their pricing was cheap enough, but you get what you pay for; it had a smell to it, and the building looked like it needed some repairs."

"I'm here. If you need help whether it's for PT, OT, you need medication help, or you need someone who can take care of you while you're recuperating from an accident or surgery, then this is the place. It is an older building, but they are trying to make it more up-to-date. Like anywhere else, you have good and bad staff, it just depends on how you are with them. If you have a good attitude, then they're gonna reciprocate and respect that. A lot of them respect the residents. I would probably say 98% of them do. They do very well with cleanliness. Housekeeping goes through two, three, or four times a day and they make sure that everything is wiped down. They wax the floors, and they sweep the floors. The tiles are always washed, and the trash is always empty. You don't have trash sitting in the corner. The food is good. A lot of times, they have more than I can eat. They give you good proportions, so it's good all the way around. We have bingo and nailcare for the males and females. We have monthly birthday parties. We have music and dedication or devotions for church service type things. Right now, with the COVID and everything, it's hard for people to come in, so we do our own praise and worship. They have enough staff, but people get sick and they have to go home, so it's nice if you have people that can be on standby. Everything is very well maintained. It's an older building, so it needs improvement in some places. They make sure the residents are engaged. They make sure that you're not just sitting around twiddling and in the bed all the time. They make sure they get you up and be interactive. If you have a loved one that needs a place to have care, I would recommend The Blossoms at Cumberland. The staff that they have here do care about their residents. If you have a need, they do what they can to help provide it for you. If they can't, they try and find a way to get it for you or they will solve the problem if you have one."
