I visited The Summit at Chenal Valley's independent living and loved it. I thought it was wonderful. The upkeep is extremely good, and the staff was wonderful. The food wasn't gourmet, but it was good.

The Summit at Chenal Valley was horrible. I had an appointment. My GPS wasn't working, and I was running behind on all my appointments because I couldn't find anything. When I called The Summit at Chenal Valley, they told me to come on, and when I got there, they met us at the door and escorted us to a private room off the dining room. The people were already gathering to eat, but we were not offered anything to eat or drink. They left us in the room, and we were in there for 30 minutes. They gave us paperwork to fill out. My friend and I decided to leave. They were serving dinner, and we were both hungry. And on our way out the door, the guy was actually on his way back and we told him that we were hungry, and we were going to get something to eat, and he said, okay. He didn't offer us food there, and he didn't ask us any other questions. And we left and I have never heard another word from them. The facility was very nice, but I didn't see a room. We saw nothing. We were in a room with no window, so we couldn't see what was happening. I just wanted to be out of there.
