"We toured Magnolia Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. We really liked it a lot. None of the patients were in their rooms when we visited. They were all out either doing activities or sitting with others, which is I want. I do not want my dad to stay in his room all the time. The director there knew everybody's name, and it was obvious that they actually talk to the patients. If it had not been for his health crisis, we would not be looking at another place. My mother still drives, and she wanted a place where she can go and visit. This met all of our needs. They were wonderful and I love them. We were looking at a two occupancy. I like that they were not side by side. Although they shared a bathroom, they have a very distinct place that was theirs. Several others are not like that. This allows them to have their own territory so to speak and feel like it is their home. It was a place that specializes in Alzheimer's, and he is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's. He is 87 and has been very, very healthy, but the timing just was not good. They have a lot of organized activities there, and you knew what was going on. It was very clean. I like that the staff interacted with the management, which was cool because it was all like a family-like atmosphere. The girls cleaning said hello to the director that we were walking around with, and she said hello to them. That kind of thing that makes it seemed less chaotic, I guess. There were big, large halls so that it was not crowded. A large crowd stresses my father out. Each hallway was distinct, so they can identify the military hallway versus the other hallways. One of the hallways is probably like women's fashion and stuff. Everything of that facility was focused on the patient and that is the key thing to takeaway. They were focused on the patient. Also, they did not have any Covid cases at all."

"My mother-in-law is living in Innisfree. She likes it there and she says she's happy there. There have been some people there that have been there for 10-12 years. The staff is good, I've had no problems with them. Everybody seems to enjoy working with the people there, they tend to engage with the people quite a bit, so I'm good with it there. They seem to be doing a great job. They've got a nice menu, and it's kind of like a restaurant setting. But you can fill it out if you need them to cut your food up or grind it, or if you have any dietary needs like for diabetics, and so forth. It's clean but it's older. I have never seen them not fix anything, but occasionally it takes some time. It's not a huge complex, but it's a big one and they've only got a small maintenance staff. As far as the people's rooms, that's fine. But like for the hallways, elevators, that kind of thing, it takes a while to get stuff fixed. But I haven't seen anything not fixed eventually, at least. They have a daily schedule of stuff there and you can engage as much as you want up there. They've got pretty much something for everybody. They have outings like four or five times a month, they've got different outings to different places. With COVID, it's a little restricted right now, but they have lunch outings to beautiful restaurants, shopping outings, museums, art galleries, there's a little bit for everybody. Then they do a lot of in-house stuff. They have coffee and donuts in the cafe pretty much every morning, twice a month they have wine and cheese, or beer and cheese tasting in the evenings. They do bingo, balloon volleyball, card making, crafts, crochet, they've got all kinds of stuff. She's in independent living, so they're on call. You have a button, so if you have an emergency, they'll come running and they didn't have to micromanage any of them. They have a whole lot of announcements and staff interactions, everything's pretty much done by fliers. They have a mailbox outside their door and the activities list gets dumped in their inbox. If you're reclusive, you can stay that way, nobody's pushed. There's not, you know, there's not a bunch of grumpy people there; they're all pretty engaged."

"I really like my townhouse - I am so comfortable - it feels like home. It is great to not have to worry about maintenance and upkeep - and I love having cleaning ladies every week and they even change my bedding! I have a great view from my townhouse and have great neighbors. Everyone is very friendly and I made new friends almost immediately. The food is very good and the chef is open to suggestions of something new. My only problem has been that I have put on some pounds since I like the food too well but I can go to the exercise room and work it off. I also enjoy the location - it is very handy."

"I didn't eat at Peachtree Village of Farmington but the dining room was a utility dining room. They could move the chairs and tables out of the way for crafts. The little cottages were the most expensive and they were independent living. You were expected to eat in the dining room. The staff members were knowledgeable. We were kind of taken as a group for orientation and they were good with their answers. They were patient. It just seemed that they wanted to get done with the job of orienting us and that they had other things to do, but they took their time. They explained very well. They answered questions before we asked them. I imagine that from their experience, they said to themselves, "A lot of people ask about that. So let's mention that in the orientation speech." They are a smaller operation. They had a very nice parlor. The rooms were adequate. It was a good campus."

"The people were nice at Gardens at Osage Terrace. They gave us a good tour, but I just didn’t like the feel of it. It felt like a big hospital ward, and my mother didn’t want to be in a place that felt like a hospital or a ward. "

"Primrose Retirement Community of Rogers, AR is a continual living. It has independent living, assisted living, and memory care. My first feeling of the place was friendly and welcoming. The room we looked at was very spacious and well-kept. The staff was excellent. They took the time. I went several times to visit and took my parents. They took the time to see us, to show us around, and to answer all our questions. They've called me, checked up with me, and helped me with the next process of memory care, and they've just been very attentive to our needs. The facility was great."

"We chose The Meadows Independent and Assisted Living Community for my sister because it fit our budget, and we thought it was very nice. So, we went ahead and took it. She seems to be adjusting quite well. Everybody that works there is more than willing to help and they are very nice. They just made it very easy on us. They have a beauty salon, church, movie nights, a 24/7 snack bar, and laundry. My sister has a very nice apartment. It's just the right size for her. We moved in her furniture and got her all set up nicely. She's very happy with where she is."

"I moved into Pinnacle Groves. The apartments are modern and efficient, and they're not efficiency apartments. They are regular apartments. The food is good, the choices are good, and the people who are in charge are really nice. They'll do anything to help you. I like the facility. I like the floor plan in my apartment and the floor plan of the whole facility. I go to chair exercises every morning. We have water aerobics because we have a big swimming pool. It's an indoor swimming pool. It is nice. We have painting and a lot of activities, chair exercises, and Bible study. They have a movie theater and show a movie once a week. It's $1,000 cheaper than other facilities. I have a two-bedroom apartment, but they have a one-bedroom too, and we have a washer and dryer hookup. I love that the laundry room is big. It's just wonderful. There's ample parking and a fishing hole. You can go fishing."

"When my mother was evaluated by her care team that she couldnt live in her home without additional assistance I started to look for an assisted living facility; I was referred to Green Acres by a physical therapist treating my mother; the smaller facility impressed me because I knew my mother would have an easier time transitioning from her home environment; my mother has a great room with a private bath and has a kitchen counter with a refrigerator ; the care givers there seem more like family and are willing to work with my mom since she is in a wheelchair and at times needs more assistance; I cant say enough good things about this facility; the facility and clients rooms are clean and always smell good; the planned meals are well received and are willing to make substitutions when requested; I live in another state and feel like the choice of Green Acres was the better decision for my mom instead of the large care facilities where she might have become just another face and not received the level of attention and care she receives at this facility; I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for your loved one to reside"

"The people at The Bungalows at Springdale were absolutely out of this world. The menu was what they fixed for lunch that day and that was it. We had fish and it was very good. The staff was outstanding. She sat me at a table with some of the residents, so I got to talk to them about what their thoughts were. One was not so happy and the other one loved it. I ended up playing cards with them after lunch. The people were great, but it was too far away. The dining area was a little stark. There was no warmth in that room at all. They had the round marble top tables and four chairs and that was it. It didn't seem like there was much life in there."

"Apartments are spacious and have been updated. Mom has a nice little patio providing outdoor space for sitting outside. Staff has been attentive and caring, going out of their way to meet the needs and requirements of my family member. The nursing staff has been great to check on my mom, especially at night when she hasn't been feeling well and might need a little extra help. The Bungalows Fayetteville is in a great location, easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking and centrally located. Could use more staffing from time to time but I think that's an issue for many places and not unique to The Bungalows."

"We looked at many facilities to find a place for our mom to live. The day we walked into Brookstone we knew we had found the right place for her. The staff are all honestly so accommodating and helpful. From the day my mom moved in she felt like this was her home and has been treated like she’s family. My mom couldn’t be happier and even told us she felt like Brookstone was a dream come true!"

"We are moving my mom into Ciel of Fayetteville. They have an actual nursing station. They have doctors who are actually on call for the facility. They have a great staff. The director and the one below her seem great and have been helpful to us. Everything is included in the cost. It's just very homey. It seems like a good place to be. I think the staff are great. They're very caring and concerned, and they've been very sweet to my mom. They want to be sure that they show the residents love and that they're excited for them to be there, so that made me feel good. The executive director has started as a nurse there and she's been there since they started, and she knows what she's doing. I think it helps to have someone like that in that position. They have a salon. They have all kinds of activities for them to do, especially around the holidays, they do a lot of extra stuff. They have a big activities menu. "
