I visited this facility

From what I saw, Village on the Park Bentonville looked fine. What I liked best was the layout. There was a little bit of a smell to it, but I think that's normal for that type of community. Some folks have no control over bowel movements. It looked like there was plenty for people to do that could. I only saw two people, and they were helpful. They weren't mean, rude, or anything like that. They were sympathetic to what I was trying to do and they were very clear on the cost when I asked them to let me know if I could even afford to get my mom in there. They were direct, which is what I needed.

Provider Response

We're happy you had a positive experience in our community. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!

My mom moved into the Village on the Park Bentonville. I think the thing that I like the best is they treat her like a queen. The staff is unbelievably kind to her and respectful of her. They look ahead and say, hey, she likes ice cream, so I'm going to go get her ice cream. They take their jobs very seriously. They have a ton of activities. Every day they have like 3 or 4 activities that they can take part in if they'd like. The food is fantastic. It's really good. If somebody likes something in particular, they'll try to make sure that they always get that. My mom can't walk very much, but they have a nice courtyard she can walk in. So that's nice. They have scripture study. They have music. They have a lot of outings. They also provide transportation to and from the doctors. They provide housekeeping. So even though she's in assisted living, they have someone deep clean her apartment at least once a week.

Provider Response

We're so happy you and your mother are having a positive experience with us. Thank you for this very nice review!

I went to Village on the Park Bentonville. It's beautiful, very nice. The apartments were just too tiny, but it was a lovely place. They had a very nice building and very nice plantings. They had wide hallways. They had a small media room for their movies. The staff was very knowledgeable, very kind, and willing to take us around and put us in one of their little buggies and drive us around to look at the cottages, even though I was not interested in a cottage.

We liked Village on the Park Bentonville. I would recommend them. It's more expensive, but it's nice. The people are great. I saw the menu. You get to order, so it's kind of like a restaurant. They have different options. They also leave a snack bar open 24/7. They have a pool table. They had people doing an all-day puzzle that stayed on the table. They have different activities going on. I love that they have a movie theater where they play movies with theater seating and popcorn. They play football games or sports that are requested. It was kind of fun to see everyone in the little theater-style seating, watching, and eating popcorn. The preschool comes in every week and sings and does crafts with them. They check on the residents depending on the level of care they need, and it's added on, so those were the things that made it pricier. But if you have a lot of money, then it's an affordable and nice facility. The staff members were fabulous. I wish the pricing had been cheaper. The facility was clean, open, and very inviting. It's new, so it's very nice.

I went to Village on the Park Bentonville. It's a beautiful facility. It seems to be well run. I was given a formal tour. I was very impressed with all the facilities. They looked like a first-class facility and a first-class management system. I saw their dining area, menus, and activity calendar; they're very nice. I looked at a one-bedroom apartment for my sister. It had a very, very large walk-in closet, a nice bedroom with a window view to an enclosed courtyard, and then a nice living area with a kitchenette on one end that had an apartment-sized refrigerator. I saw the kitchen sink, nice cabinets, and lots of space. I was impressed with that place. The staff was excellent except for the general manager. She was a sort of an authoritarian grumpy woman of about 40 to 45 years of age. But everyone else was excellent.

Village on the Park Bentonville had everything you could need. It was brand new and it has been taken care of very well. It's kind of like living inside a mini city. The layout was very good. It was kind of a circle where the residents could walk around the building. It gave opportunities for restaurant-style eating and opportunities to go watch movies in their movie theater. They had all kinds of activities. They had an activity game room and a mini library which is kind of cool. Also for religious things, they had a mini Church inside. They also had an inside courtyard. The assisted living side and the memory care side were connected, but separate. They had appliances inside the apartments, but you had to bring your own bedding and furniture. Everything you would need in the kitchen area was supplied. The washer and dryer setup was in a different room. They will charge you a service fee to have it done or you can do it yourself in their facility. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She did a very good job.

I went to Village on the Park Bentonville and checked out both assisted living and memory care. It's very nice and it felt comfortable. The facility was laid out well for the residents and all the apartments were well thought out. The staff seemed to be pleasant and knowledgeable. They had a big schedule posted and looked like they had a lot going on. There was some entertainment going on when I was there. There was a musician and looked like the event was well attended by the residents.

My mom moved into the Village on the Park Bentonville. It is beautiful, welcoming, and squeaky clean. Everybody there is friendly and helpful. The person that talked to me and showed me around was very nice. There was no pressure at all. I was surprised that it didn't cost more than it did. I think it's very reasonable. We're not allowed to eat with the residents because of COVID, but my mom says the food is fine. I've observed the residents playing bingo. Several times when I've been there, they've had people coming in and playing the piano, or once there was a whole big family of kids, and everybody was playing a different instrument. My mom's room is plenty big. It was freshly painted and very clean. We were surprised that the bathroom and the closet were so big. There is a living room for her to have guests come sit and visit. I like the way there's so much light coming in. There are four courtyards. In the dining room, you can see out windows into all four courtyards as you walk down the halls. You can see the light coming in from the courtyards. There's a big window in the bedroom, so you don't feel closed in because there's light coming in there. It's a very good value for the money.

Provider Response

Thank you for your kind words, Mary! It makes our team extremely happy to know we are making a positive impact on you and your mother's life. We always strive for excellence as our passion is serving our residents and families, and we will continue to do just that.

Village on the Park Bentonville was very nice and very clean, the people were friendly, and they had lots of great amenities. The staff was very friendly and able to answer questions. They have the movie theater, four different courtyards, the salon, the different field trips that they take them on, a big open area with a fireplace, meeting areas, and a private dining room that you can rent. It's close to restaurants.

We were able to visit Village on the Park Bentonville for assisted living. It seemed pretty top notch. The lady was prepared for us. She was very professional, and she also told us how she had just recently, within the last couple of years, moved her mother into a care facility. She was very honest on the level about things. They seemed to be very knowledgeable. It seemed nicer and more organized overall. I like the layout. It was a bigger place. Everything was off of a courtyard. They had a few different courtyards. The rooms were very nice. They had a choice between either studio apartments or apartments with a bedroom. The staff showed us those. The things she told us about what the care would be and the price of things made sense for the price that they were charging because it was more expensive than others, but it was a nice place. It was like looking for a new apartment. They seem to have a little more options with the food with the things they could offer. The dining room seemed very clean, and I wasn't there for the meal (so I couldn't say what the food was like). It was a Wednesday, so they were having a Bible study that was going on there. They have it in the theater, and that theater looked pretty nice. All of it seemed very well organized and clean. I like the size. The size of the different rooms seemed probably worth the extra money that you pay to live there.

Village on the Park Bentonville was really nice. The lady who was there was extremely nice and very helpful. It was just outside of my dad's budget; he just can't afford it. The rooms were fancy, very clean, very modern, and just really nice. The dining area was amazing. It was modern, fancy, and clean. They have bingo, they had a theater room, they had an outside sitting area, and it was really nice.

My mom moved into Village on the Park Bentonville. It's a beautiful place, very nice, new, and I couldn't ask for anything better. I couldn't ask for a better place for my mom. The staff is very understanding, they have worked with me in getting her in, and they made any accommodations that they could to get my mom moved in there. I couldn't ask for a better staff to work with. The facility is clean, fresh, and the grounds are immaculate. They go out of their way to make sure everybody is accommodated.

My father is living at The Village in Bentonville. I am halfway across the country and cannot be there very often, usually only once a month. There is a library, workout room, pool table, fire place and much more that makes this a great place. The facilities are new, modern and clean but that is not really the best part. The best part is the staff there. From the General Manager down I feel they care and want to help. I have received many phone calls from the nursing staff to give me updates on my father. And when I have called, they have always made time to talk with me. No one is too busy to help. I would not hesitate to recommend the Village on the Park to anyone who would like to move there or have a relative move there.

Village on the Park Bentonville is an excellent assisted living place. They're very attentive, on the ball, and very knowledgeable. My aunt is very happy there. The food is very good. They fix anything you want and they have a menu so if you don't want what's on the menu, they accommodate you, so I think that's excellent. They have an array of activities. It's very nice, updated, and clean. We looked at other places, but this one was absolutely a shining star compared to the others. It's absolutely a great match for my aunt.
