"I toured The Gardens At Arkanshire Senior Living. I like them. They had very roomy rooms for two bedrooms. They didn't have a big kitchen for you to cook in because they wanted you to go down and eat the three meals in the dining room, but you had a very small area to cook in. They have a microwave and a refrigerator. Their chef was awesome. He brought me a lemon pie to take home and his menu stuff. There weren't set times when you could eat. They would take care of you if you had doctor's appointments that ran through lunchtime. You could still go in and have lunch with them when you get back."

"Peachtree Village of Farmington was very nice, clean, and cozy. There were not as many activities as I would have liked for the seniors. Other than that, the apartments were nice. They had a variety of apartments, and they were doing a remodel. I didn't see anybody doing anything. There was a room and a list of things they did during their weekly activities, like bingo and movies. There was not a lot of interaction. They told me they have groups come in and do things, but they didn't take the groups on outings. If they wanted to go, they took them to Wal-Mart."

"My wife has been in The Meadows for 3 months. The staff as a whole is outstanding. The area is very nice. The place itself is really good. They only have 10 patients in the memory center, and they have 2 CNAs for the in-patients. Each patient has her own bedroom and bathroom with a vanity in it. Outside, there’s another vanity and a chest of drawers. There is a bed and a closet, and it’s furnished nicely. There is a large walking area inside as well as a nice outdoor walking area. The food always smells delicious. I tasted a little bit that my wife had, and it has been really good. They have a varied menu. I checked several other places, and this, to me, was the best; that’s why she’s here. "

"I went to Pinnacle Groves. I liked the style of the rooms. The kitchens were excellent. I thought I would be able to get the amount of storage available in the kitchen and the closets. They don't have extra storage. So, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get all of my furniture and all the items I have in storage boxes into that apartment. The staff explained and showed things. He was willing to take me to multiple apartments to show me, describe the facility, and how to get around elevators, that kind of information. He was very helpful. The restroom that I went into was not in good condition. It was not as clean as it should have been."

"The Plaza At Highlands Crossing is a beautiful community. The buildings are nice. There's a variety of different apartments. The only thing is that they don't provide regular meals. I think they have a Sunday meal and that's it. Most of the staff are volunteers that live there, so they're congenial. They have a full kitchen in each apartment. You do most of your own cooking there. They have a library. There are three different wings, so around each wing, there's green space and trees."
