"I liked everything about Village on the Park Rogers. I would consider putting my dad there. Their rooms were a little bit bigger. I liked that. The layout was larger. They had two or three courtyards. They had another one outside for families. All the stuff was similar to the other place, but maybe a little bit better. They had the courtyards, the TV rooms, and the game room. They actually had a therapy room, too. It was a therapy room for outside therapists to come and work in. Everything was really clean."

"Grand Brook Memory Care of Rogers at Pinnacle Hills has a lot of activities. They have a central patio area where they have barbeques. They have a karaoke night, so they keep the residents busy and out of their rooms. My husband was in a private room which was kind of like a motel. He had a queen-sized bed and a walk-in shower. The TV is a separate cost. He said the food wasn't very good and that breakfast was served cold. It was away from everything yet they're close enough to take the residents to Walmart or the drug store if they need to go. It's a lovely facility. Joy who is in charge of everything is very outgoing, involved with the patients, and knew everybody's names. She was just a lovely person to deal with. I just think they're a little understaffed, but they're brand new. The place was very clean."

"I went to Village on the Park Bentonville. It's a beautiful facility. It seems to be well run. I was given a formal tour. I was very impressed with all the facilities. They looked like a first-class facility and a first-class management system. I saw their dining area, menus, and activity calendar; they're very nice. I looked at a one-bedroom apartment for my sister. It had a very, very large walk-in closet, a nice bedroom with a window view to an enclosed courtyard, and then a nice living area with a kitchenette on one end that had an apartment-sized refrigerator. I saw the kitchen sink, nice cabinets, and lots of space. I was impressed with that place. The staff was excellent except for the general manager. She was a sort of an authoritarian grumpy woman of about 40 to 45 years of age. But everyone else was excellent. "

"We toured Clear Creek Memory Care. It's a very posh, nice facility with very large, nice rooms that are unfurnished, allowing us to purchase furniture that would suit us. The staff who assisted us during the tour was excellent. They made everything very clear for us. They're very cordial. They are a salesperson, and they're interested in making a sale."

"We placed Marilyn at The Meadows, and it’s very good. They are very caring; it’s a family-owned facility that bends over backwards to try to meet the expectations of the residents. The food is very good. "

"We looked at many facilities to find a place for our mom to live. The day we walked into Brookstone we knew we had found the right place for her. The staff are all honestly so accommodating and helpful. From the day my mom moved in she felt like this was her home and has been treated like she’s family. My mom couldn’t be happier and even told us she felt like Brookstone was a dream come true!"

"We chose Countryside Assisted Living for my mom. They did all they could to make space available so that we could put her in memory care. It's a very lovely place. As soon as I went in, I felt very comforted that the employees and residents seemed to be happy and going about their day, which wasn't the same atmosphere where she moved from. Right off the bat, everyone did whatever they could to help and reassured me that Mom didn't need to go to a nursing home, and that they could take care of her even through hospice. They've done everything they could to make us feel comfortable. And it's really obvious, especially on the memory care side, that she's well cared for. All their employees just seem loving and caring, whereas I have witnessed other places have a lot of frustrated employees. So, whatever they're doing to train each other or how they're selecting their caregivers is wonderful. My mom is enjoying her food, but I haven't experienced it. Memory care doesn't do as many activities as assisted living. It's just trying to take care of them and keep everybody peaceful. I'm very satisfied and relieved even though I can't be there all the time. Where she was previously, I was constantly getting phone calls and there were constant problems and I was always worried about her. And I didn't realize after we placed Mom here how much more relaxed I am that she's being cared for in a proper humane way which hasn't necessarily happened in the past."
