"My mom moved into the Village on the Park Bentonville. I think the thing that I like the best is they treat her like a queen. The staff is unbelievably kind to her and respectful of her. They look ahead and say, hey, she likes ice cream, so I'm going to go get her ice cream. They take their jobs very seriously. They have a ton of activities. Every day they have like 3 or 4 activities that they can take part in if they'd like. The food is fantastic. It's really good. If somebody likes something in particular, they'll try to make sure that they always get that. My mom can't walk very much, but they have a nice courtyard she can walk in. So that's nice. They have scripture study. They have music. They have a lot of outings. They also provide transportation to and from the doctors. They provide housekeeping. So even though she's in assisted living, they have someone deep clean her apartment at least once a week."

"I really like my townhouse - I am so comfortable - it feels like home. It is great to not have to worry about maintenance and upkeep - and I love having cleaning ladies every week and they even change my bedding! I have a great view from my townhouse and have great neighbors. Everyone is very friendly and I made new friends almost immediately. The food is very good and the chef is open to suggestions of something new. My only problem has been that I have put on some pounds since I like the food too well but I can go to the exercise room and work it off. I also enjoy the location - it is very handy."

"What we like best at Bella Vista is the facility itself and the rooms. Those are the best features. It's also all on one floor, which is a lot safer. The food was good, and the staff was nice, too."

"I toured The Gardens At Arkanshire Senior Living. I like them. They had very roomy rooms for two bedrooms. They didn't have a big kitchen for you to cook in because they wanted you to go down and eat the three meals in the dining room, but you had a very small area to cook in. They have a microwave and a refrigerator. Their chef was awesome. He brought me a lemon pie to take home and his menu stuff. There weren't set times when you could eat. They would take care of you if you had doctor's appointments that ran through lunchtime. You could still go in and have lunch with them when you get back."

"We toured Clear Creek Memory Care. It's a very posh, nice facility with very large, nice rooms that are unfurnished, allowing us to purchase furniture that would suit us. The staff who assisted us during the tour was excellent. They made everything very clear for us. They're very cordial. They are a salesperson, and they're interested in making a sale."

"The Peachtree Village Farmington manager, Destiny, and her staff, really care and work hard to take care of the residents, one of which is my elderly mother. "

"When my mother was evaluated by her care team that she couldnt live in her home without additional assistance I started to look for an assisted living facility; I was referred to Green Acres by a physical therapist treating my mother; the smaller facility impressed me because I knew my mother would have an easier time transitioning from her home environment; my mother has a great room with a private bath and has a kitchen counter with a refrigerator ; the care givers there seem more like family and are willing to work with my mom since she is in a wheelchair and at times needs more assistance; I cant say enough good things about this facility; the facility and clients rooms are clean and always smell good; the planned meals are well received and are willing to make substitutions when requested; I live in another state and feel like the choice of Green Acres was the better decision for my mom instead of the large care facilities where she might have become just another face and not received the level of attention and care she receives at this facility; I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for your loved one to reside"

"We had to move my husband to Innisfree Health & Rehab, and he seems to be pretty stable right now. The staff is very nice and I can tell they are knowledgeable about what they need to do. Although sometimes, it takes them a lot longer to have somebody help you with things you need help with. The double room he has is probably larger compared to the ones I saw in other places. They had redone part of the building and they're in the process of finishing that up. And they said the rooms are even larger, which would be good. I tried the food and I was satisfied. For now, my husband is eating in his room because of these changes. So hopefully when they get over to the other side, they'll have room for them to go out to eat. They give out a newsletter each day to let you know what they have for lunch, and then there's an alternative. You get to choose your meal that way. Most of the time, the food is good and has a decent variety."

"I have tremendous hope for my family member that just got moved here, my aunt lives here in the past and loved it! They have excellent staff, and cook hefty meals that is one of the reasons we loved it before! I foresee a great road to recovery for him here! "

"New management is doing a great job! My mother went for skilled rehabilitation and had wonderful care. Attentive staff, very knowledgeable nurses and the new management is professional and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend."

"My husband moved to Promenade Health and Rehab. The place was cheerful, friendly, and clean, and overall seemed to be bright. They have more of a related relationship with the patient. They try to get to know them. They try to build a rapport with them so that they feel comfortable about being there. They try to respect them, and I can see that. Some of the staff hug the patients. They laugh with them and make them feel more comfortable about being away from home. They do have regular activities, whether it's holidays or there's always games or movies or even church services on Sunday if needed. So there's enough for people to do if they're interested in doing it. The food is good. The only thing that I would say is sometimes it just takes them a little bit longer to get the meals out. They don't come out at the same time every day, but they get a wide variety. They have seafood, they have shrimp. They have just anything you could think of. They always have a frozen yogurt ice cream thing that's always available for the patient if they want. That part I think was better than some of the other places. The value for money, they're about the same price as everybody else. I think the whole industry's high."

"My wife had been to Jamestown Health and Rehab. The place was always clean. The people were very good. We tried to get my wife back here, but they had a few people who work in here that tested positive for the virus that week and they said they were not taking any new patients until all things were cleared. They're a family friendly organization. The food is better than hospital food. They have a pretty nice facility. The people that worked in the rehab were very professional and were good people. The facility is a little bit more modern and is in a good location. If we needed any transportation to keep her doctors' appointments or anything, they'd arrange that, and a staff member always accompanied her to the doctor. They were very good. All the bad stories and nightmares that you hear are humors, my wife and I never encountered any mischief. They were all for keeping the family structure as much as they could. They have a good attitude as far as public relations are concerned."

"I toured The Meadows Independent & Assisted Living Community. It was good, and the food was good. The tour person was excellent at explaining everything. I still felt I had to give up a lot of independence living there. You have to go down the hall to use their community laundry. It's going down there, and it's at the other end of the building where your room is. They have three meals a day."
