"Extremely friendly and very helpful. Did all they could to find funding for my Uncle to stay there. The facility was clean and everyone seemed happy to be there. I had lunch there and the food was wonderful and even had homemade coconut cream pie for dessert!"

"I toured Gran Villas Neosho for my dad. The rooms were bigger than the ones we saw in another community. The beds were bigger, too, and they had a kitchenette in the room should he decide to make something. I like the staff. They were very helpful and very caring. One of the things I didn't like about it, though, was that it seemed older than some of the other ones. It wouldn't hurt to update a bit. They offer three meals a day, snacks, and transportation. They assist with baths, medications, and pretty much help the residents do everything they need. They had a lot of activities like Bingo, church on Sundays, and just different things like that. The staff is very welcoming and very informative. They took us on a tour and showed us all around. They showed us a vacant room and what they would look like should he decide to move in. They also answered a lot of questions."

"The facility's grounds are nice and kept up. It is lovely that it is surrounded by trees and you can't really hear the traffic when you are outside. The inside of the building is nice and clean. No hospital smells. Resident's rooms are kept tidy and trash is emptied daily. The showers are zero-entry, lights for the bathroom and closets come on automatically. Residents are given the option of joining activities such as bingo. My only concerns, which have been brought to the attention of the administrator are that nurses only seem to come by to check on residents when passing meds, or if the resident hasn't shown up for a meal. I have been there as a visitor during different times of day and rarely see any of the staff during any of the visits, except during meals. We also had a problem with items going missing from my grandmother's locked room while she has been out of the building. This has been brought up to the administrator, but the items have yet to be returned. For the most part the facility a nice place to be with few major issues. I would recommend this facility to others. "

"I have both my mom and dad in the same nursing home, St. Luke's Nursing Center. They are very awesome. They've taken care of both my parents very well. I have no complaints. They're very caring. I think it's an awesome place. My mom is in memory and my dad had a stroke and he's over in rehabilitation right now. It is a very good place. Very good, I would recommend it. They're very caring. They help them out. They have different facilities. It's all right there, and my dad can always go over and see my mom. It's all awesome. They're very caring because whenever I drop in, quite often it's the same. They're right there to help them out. I have not had a meal there, but my dad who likes to eat, says it's the best. He loves their cooking. It's hard because it is expensive, but I think it's well worth it. I've seen the whole place. It's very nice."

"My grandmother was living in this assisted living facility for approximately two months until we moved her to another location that could better provide for her and her individual needs. Upon visiting the facility with the director of nursing prior to her actually living there, we noticed many of the residents were unattended, and were in need of assistance. Upon asking about this, the Director of Nursing explained it away. After my grandmother had moved into the facility, we noticed that when visiting, she was complaining that she was not getting the help she needed, and with the surgery that she had prior, the help was necessary in order for my grandmother to bathe, get dressed and eat on some occasions. I also was aware afterwards that the employees were not fully trained on how to care for someone in my grandmothers conditions. The facility was not clean, the faculty was not professional, which lead my family to immediately remove my grandmother from this facility and to put her in one that better suited her needs. After a few months of rehabilitation, she is well and living back in her home. Thank you. "

"I had my father in an assisted living, which I love. It is called Leisure Living Residential Care. It is close; I could visit him all the time. I love the people who owned it and worked there; however, my father couldn't stay there. He couldn't fit in an assisted living because he needed way more help than that. Leisure Living is the best assisted living. They only have 12 residents. They only charge $2000 a month, and that was with no help from the VA. I would have love to leave my father there, but it just wouldn't work. I like that it was clean. It had a really homey atmosphere. It was as close to home as you could get. Everything looked fine to me. It was homey and comfortable. They just didn't have a wing for Alzheimer's patients. They have been in the business for a long, long time now. The best part of it was that they really cared. It was a good place to be. "
