I had my father in an assisted living, which I love. It is called Leisure Living Residential Care. It is close; I could visit him all the time. I love the people who owned it and worked there; however, my father couldn't stay there. He couldn't fit in an assisted living because he needed way more help than that. Leisure Living is the best assisted living. They only have 12 residents. They only charge $2000 a month, and that was with no help from the VA. I would have love to leave my father there, but it just wouldn't work. I like that it was clean. It had a really homey atmosphere. It was as close to home as you could get. Everything looked fine to me. It was homey and comfortable. They just didn't have a wing for Alzheimer's patients. They have been in the business for a long, long time now. The best part of it was that they really cared. It was a good place to be.
