"I visited Saint Luke’s. If they had a room, that would have been great; but they did not have an opening. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very nice also. They also had assisted-living. "

"My grandmother stayed here for a few years in assisted living before her health turned for the worse and she was moved to a nursing home. This place was amazing. The staff was so nice, the place was so clean, and it did not have the typical smell that was associated with nursing homes. I'm often very uncomfortable around the sick and elderly, but this place put me at ease. They prepared food for the residents, and it always looked like it was very good food. I visited at least once a month and was present for a Christmas dinner. Most of the residents seemed very happy, and most were quite active. There is not a huge number of residents, which makes there seem to be a good staff to resident ratio. My grandmother has never had a cheery disposition, which meant that she spent most of her time sulking, but all of the other residents and the staff worked very hard to try to make her happy. I would definitely recommend this assisted living facility to anyone. "

"I liked Oak Pointe of Neosho, but they did not have a nursing staff 24 hours a day. Overall it's a nice place and good, but there were a lot of things lacking in what I was looking for. I met two people and they were very nice. The apartments themselves I would give 5 stars, they were just very nice, very clean, and spacious. Around the building, it's just a pretty basic, nice yard. The dining room looked nice, and they tried to set it up like a restaurant."

"I toured Gran Villas Neosho for my dad. The rooms were bigger than the ones we saw in another community. The beds were bigger, too, and they had a kitchenette in the room should he decide to make something. I like the staff. They were very helpful and very caring. One of the things I didn't like about it, though, was that it seemed older than some of the other ones. It wouldn't hurt to update a bit. They offer three meals a day, snacks, and transportation. They assist with baths, medications, and pretty much help the residents do everything they need. They had a lot of activities like Bingo, church on Sundays, and just different things like that. The staff is very welcoming and very informative. They took us on a tour and showed us all around. They showed us a vacant room and what they would look like should he decide to move in. They also answered a lot of questions."

"My grandmother was living in this assisted living facility for approximately two months until we moved her to another location that could better provide for her and her individual needs. Upon visiting the facility with the director of nursing prior to her actually living there, we noticed many of the residents were unattended, and were in need of assistance. Upon asking about this, the Director of Nursing explained it away. After my grandmother had moved into the facility, we noticed that when visiting, she was complaining that she was not getting the help she needed, and with the surgery that she had prior, the help was necessary in order for my grandmother to bathe, get dressed and eat on some occasions. I also was aware afterwards that the employees were not fully trained on how to care for someone in my grandmothers conditions. The facility was not clean, the faculty was not professional, which lead my family to immediately remove my grandmother from this facility and to put her in one that better suited her needs. After a few months of rehabilitation, she is well and living back in her home. Thank you. "

"I had my father in an assisted living, which I love. It is called Leisure Living Residential Care. It is close; I could visit him all the time. I love the people who owned it and worked there; however, my father couldn't stay there. He couldn't fit in an assisted living because he needed way more help than that. Leisure Living is the best assisted living. They only have 12 residents. They only charge $2000 a month, and that was with no help from the VA. I would have love to leave my father there, but it just wouldn't work. I like that it was clean. It had a really homey atmosphere. It was as close to home as you could get. Everything looked fine to me. It was homey and comfortable. They just didn't have a wing for Alzheimer's patients. They have been in the business for a long, long time now. The best part of it was that they really cared. It was a good place to be. "
