They will contact you back if you don't get them on the phone and they have taken care of everything we asked them to do. They have an exercise room and places where they sit outside."

All of the people I met, the staff, and the other residents I met were extremely nice and caring. It was just way outside of our price range. The menu was very varied. It was like it would cater to anybody's needs."

"My father lives at The Ashton on the Plaza. The care that they give is phenomenal. They do what they say they're going to do. They check on my father every two hours through the night. He's always clean and everything. The staff is friendly and really caring. The food is great. The chef does a good job at seasoning the food. I think some of the carpet in the rooms could be either cleaned or changed. Other than that, the facility is clean. He does painting and music, and he has physical therapy in the building. He's been to several places, and I would say it's worth it."

"My mother moved to the assisted living of Garden Villas of Lenexa, and it's been excellent. We chose this place because they were reasonable, provide great care, and are a nice facility. The community is friendly, with nice rooms, a nice building, and good amenities. They provide her meals, they do bingo and games, mass, and movies. The staff was very nice. She has a nice balcony that overlooks the grounds, and I like the layout of the place. Her room is not far from the elevator, and the elevator takes her to most of the activities."

"My mom happily settled into Trustwell Living at Mission Springs. The staff is great, and my mother is happy. The rooms looked very nice. They're not big, but my mom has plenty of room. They come and help her. They make sure she doesn't miss her meals and gets her services done. I think it's a fine choice for her. The staff members are very caring, responsive, and competent. They have entertainment, music, storytelling, and games. They have a couple of different lounges with TVs, so they can visit each other. I think it's a great value for the money."

"White Oaks at The Groves was nice and clean. People seemed friendly. The menu choices were a good choice. They're very helpful. They have all three levels of care. The staff who showed me around was very helpful, very informative, and understanding. The place looked really nice and clean. The room has an apartment-sized refrigerator. They have exercise and games. They have a swimming pool, puzzles, and a movie theater."

"The visit here was wonderful. The woman that gave me the tour was terrific. She explained everything and showed me everything. I felt very comfortable there. I know that my brother-in-law and his wife would be very comfortable there. They could start out as independent living, which is what I toured. He will eventually end up in memory care. I like the sizes of the rooms. I like the social gathering areas. Everything was lovely. They have a restaurant, which is nice. They offer a bus to take you places. They have social gatherings at different times of the day. It seems like quite a wonderful community. It was pretty scarce people-wise the day that I was there. I don't know why, but there were just a couple of people. There were three people in one of the little breakfast lunch area. They were just having their coffee and chatting, but I didn't have a chance to talk to them. Those are the only people I really saw. There were a couple of people coming and going, but that was it. I met the social director and also the activities director. They were both lovely."

I have not tried the food, but they were having a meal when I was there, and it smelled delicious and looked really nice. The dining was family style -- very inviting for the people -- and it looks like a nice place. They have exercise, bingo, a little general store, plenty of reading, and TV. I would rate it a 4 only because they need to redo the parking lot; it doesn’t look very good. "
