We toured Brookdale Conway Arkansas, but it was not as nice as the first one we went to. It was clean, but the facilities were older. The staff was good. They showed us the whole facility and answered all our questions. There was no problem with the staff there. They were friendlier than in the other places. They were much more rigid about their time to be able to eat. They got an hour to eat each meal, which was a specific time, so it was not flexible. There was plenty of space, the lighting was fine, and there was nothing wrong with the physical part of it. It's just more expensive than the other facility.

I was a resident of Brookdale Conway Arkansas. It was a very nice facility. However, one of the administrators treats the residents pretty badly. He's very nosey and wants to get into the resident's business. There was one other lady I don't know what her title was, but this gentleman and her cornered me one time, two against one, and they were very rude to me. I would never recommend Brookdale Conway Arkansas to anybody. Never. One of the gentlemen went to the bank with me and asked the banker for my balance. Brookdale Conway Arkansas was a very nice facility and they offered quite a bit of things. I'm sure other people have had a great experience with them, but I didn't. They said they offer assisted living, but they didn't. I'm in a wheelchair and I never get any assistance. The only thing I got assistance for one time was when they got nosey and put me on the bus, which I don't like because I can drive. I had a 20-minute appointment, but they left me at the doctor's office after I called them for four hours. Now there are some excellent aides that work there, so it's strictly the administration. For them to improve, they need to get rid of some of those administrators. There is another lady, who has been sitting behind her desk, and she thinks she's God's gift to the facility. You never hear from the head administrator. Never. She stays in her office and keeps the door shut most of the time. I just had a bad experience. And even some of the residents kept questioning me, 'Why are they always on your back?' The other residents started seeing things, too. I got to the point where I wouldn't even go down for meals. I would not eat all day because I didn't know what would happen. When I had physical therapy, I had to go by the administrator's offices, and I finally asked the physical therapist if he could come to my room because every time I had to go by, that administrator would stop me and ask for more money or called me a liar about not giving more money. I do not highly recommend Brookdale Conway Arkansas.

I went to visit Brookdale Conway Arkansas. I'm sure they're doing what they can, but it's an older facility. It smelled. It didn't look warm and inviting. It looked dreary. It was just gloomy kind of. We told the staff what we were looking for, and we had to go up the elevator. He said he only has one on the bottom floor. He didn't even show us a clean room. I think somebody had just moved out and it hadn't been cleaned yet. We were invited for lunch that day as well, but the staff never even mentioned it. He was just kind of all over the place with descriptions of the place. I didn't meet anybody else. My mother-in-law had a friend that was there, that's why she went there first. She had a little studio place and it just didn't look kept up and she couldn't do much for herself. She's kind of in the hospice right now, and it just looked cluttered and kind of unkempt. The staff never even gave us a price. He never sat down with us. He didn't show us, like, a laundry room. They have a little church and a courtyard. I know a beautician comes in twice a week. They were having a little church service going on, so that was nice.

Brookdale Conway Arkansas had everything that my mother's needing to go day-by-day, and assistance in just about everything. I liked that they got nursing on-staff, and they've got a therapy room that she can do therapy in. All in all, it really fit the needs that my mother needed to have. The staff was one of the things that I really liked. Everybody was very helpful. They made you feel at home and they made you feel like you were important, and they conveyed that to my mother, which my mother really liked. We looked at two different rooms, and that's one of the decisions she's trying to make now. One room was a one-bedroom, and then the second room that we looked at was a studio-style apartment. We had lunch there and we had a full meal with dessert, and I had tea. This particular day they were serving spaghetti and meatballs, and it was really a good little meal. It had bread on the side and also green beans. They had a meeting room where they had church services. They also had games and stuff that they played in there. They did an excellent job.

I have nothing but great things to say about Brookdale Conway Arkansas. What I like the best is the respect and the compassion that we felt instantly when we walked in the door. They had everything anybody would need including positive support from the staff. I was impressed by the staff, and the few folks that live there that we talked to just seemed happy. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was wonderful. The cafeteria looked like a restaurant. It was clean, and everything was professional. The food smelled good. We could smell it; we were there about lunchtime. There were all kinds of activities. There were people playing pool, playing cards, doing puzzles, and reading books. Some residents were getting ready to go on a tour of a museum. They have exceeded all my expectations in every aspect. It was clean, it was nice, and it was decorated cute. The people care and it was obvious.

I went to look at Brookdale Conway Arkansas. The staff was very nice, caring, and very involved with the residents. They were very knowledgeable and cared a lot about the residents. The facility was very clean and modern. They had a lot of activities and amenities to make my life easier. They had a salon, an outdoor patio area, and a library.
