Mayfair is a beautiful home with nice, open spaces and a light feeling to it. The staff are actually smiling, friendly, and enjoying their job, and the residents look happy. The thing that my grandmother enjoys is that they have birds that she can watch. She loves watching nature and likes the place. She says that she is spoiled and is doing better there than she did here. It is very clean, and the way that the house is laid out is perfect for assisted living. The rooms are all laid out near a bathroom and have handrails on the wall, and the bathrooms are nice and big.

I'm happy with Mayfair. I'm going to keep dad there as of now and I don't have any plans to change it. He needed more care that's why I placed him there. I don't have any issues at present.

This is a small, group type setting for assisted living residents. They have a license for 10 residents. From visiting the home, I noticed the house is nice and clean. They have palm trees, a nice front yard and an enclosed backyard with a patio, grass, and shrubs. They do all the cleaning and laundry. The rooms are private and semi-private and medium to larger size with windows in each, There are some private and some shared bathrooms which are handicapped equipped. They do all home cooking. There are three meals and snacks a day. The food is ok from what I ate. They have a house doctor who comes in once a month and on call. The caregivers are licensed. They seldom transport, however. They do have in house activities as exercise, bingo, and games. They do not do outings. The staff seems nice enough but it is limited for activities and transport.
