Fellowship Square in historic mesa is a wonderful facility. I have my own apartment but they take care of everything (dining, house cleaning, laundry, etc). There are 2 dining rooms with a full menu to select from and the menu changes every week. On days I can't get out - they bring the food to me. Staff is friendly and quick to respond. I am blessed to have found this place

I like Fellowship Square. I was seriously considering that because I love the way it was set up, and it was smaller than some of the places I looked at. I would highly recommend that to anyone. The staff was very friendly. My daughter and I ended up having lunch there. And one of the residents and one of the staff came and sat with us, and it was very friendly. I liked everything about it. The food was very good. Everything was very clean there. I felt like I could be at home there. Everyone was friendly. The apartments were located right across from the pool. And I could have my dog there, too.

We toured Fellowship Square. It felt like home when we walked in the door. The people were exceptionally qualified to show their interest and exhibit a lot of experience. They knew what they were talking about. I think their emphasis was more on the quality of care of the individual. I just had the sense that they were very caring. The facility was well-kept and looked brand new. They have a full kitchen. The staff was outstanding, and whatever would happen in the future, they will be there to help us. The facility was even better than the others. They're pretty clean.

Food is horrible, tasteless, cold and disgusting. Either overcooked or undercooked. Oftentimes EXTREMELY salty. The Director is quite aware of all the many many food complaints, but obviously doesn’t care. The food has been going downhill for the last 2 years. You can’t opt out of food either, because they tell you it’s included in your rent, so many, many residents are paying rent for food delivery that’s inedible, that they throw right in the trash after opening the box. It’s not any better in the dining room either. I pay $1058 for a studio, and don’t eat the disgusting food because I got food poisoning twice, and know of others too, so now I have to pay for additional groceries to cook my own food. The stock answer for everything that’s going wrong from the Director is, “We are working on it”, but nothing ever happens or changes. As soon as my apartment at a different facility is ready, I’m out of here. A lot of residents can’t afford to move and are stuck here, but a LOT of residents have already moved out, and the main reason is the food. It’s especially the worst in the West side kitchen/dining room because the sous chef in that kitchen doesn’t care either. If they did, the food would never leave the kitchen looking like it does. The grounds are very nice, and there are a lot of activities, but if you like to eat good food this is not where you want to live, because it’s not getting better, it gets worse every day.

We went to Fellowship Square. We were very impressed. It's the best that we had seen. It was a very good experience, and we even had lunch. They took us to lunch in the dining room. We had a very nice lunch. Their facilities are very clean, very modern, and updated. Their kitchens had new stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers in the room. Everything was top notch, including the TV service. They even had Alexa state of the art electronics. The food was great. We had salmon. Well, we had three different meals. My brother went, my mother, and myself. I had salmon with baked potatoes. I had the soup. It was an excellent meal, and we also had dessert.

My family and I are highly suspicious of the safety of this community. My grandmother's apartment has been robbed several times and knows other residents with similar stories. Management seems to be doing nothing about it and the police are called frequently. Think very carefully before letting your loved ones move in here.

I have moved into Fellowship Square. It is a very friendly place. Most of the people are very friendly. It is very convenient to have your meals. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is very helpful. If you have a problem and you need help, they'll do their best to find the person to take care of it. I have an apartment, but there are more than one option. There are exercise groups, exercise rooms, cards, and other types of games. There is always something going on. They have a library, they do scheduled trips, and they take people shopping and to doctor's, but they also schedule other trips. Meals are very good and they're partially paid by your rent. They have something happening all the time, but I haven't participated in any of that yet.

Fellowship Square at Mesa was a pleasant place and would have been my mom's second choice. She liked it very much, and is very similar to her current community. The staff and facilities are great.

My mother lives in Fellowship Square. The place was built into an assisted living facility instead of converted into one. She walks out of her apartment now and its still an interior hallway. Shes in the independent living part now, they each have their own apartment, and they can either cook there, or go down to the cafeteria to eat. Theres around four three-story high buildings for residents and other buildings that facilitate that, so its like a community. She gets around 28 meals a month, which is equivalent to two meals a day. Some days its fantastic, and some days it's just OK.

Mom has just moved into Fellowship Square Mesa. It's very clean and nice. The people are very friendly. The dining area is very nice, very elegant, and clean. They have cards, music, games, outdoor activities, and live music sometimes. We have not eaten there yet, but they gave us a deli tray.

We placed her in Fellowship Square. They have independent-living, assisted living, and then fully assisted living. The quality was very good. The staff was uniformly very nice. It was very clean, very open, and very airy, and they had lots of activities. We’d seen a couple of other places, and they didn’t compare to this one. There were startup issues. There were scheduling mishaps based upon which floor gets which service for which way, and as they changed their own services, there were communication issues or training issues.

One thing I liked about Fellowship Square-Mesa was that they did not have a move fee. They had activities. They had games, an exercise machine, and other things normal places do. The food was excellent. The dining area was very nice. It had tablecloths on the table. The apartments were the same like anywhere I looked at. They had housekeeping. My first impression was very good. It was very clean.

My dad moved into Fellowship Square. I like that it is really clean, and that he apartments are bigger than I expected. It is nice and well laid out with nice fixtures. The facilities that are provided for the community are really nice. I am impressed with all the services that they provide. They have a community pool, physical therapy, activities, transportation, and dining options.

I liked the feature in Fellowship Square that you don't have to eat all at the same time. You could go down in different hours to eat your meals. The menu was more varied, but it was more money also. It was more of a restaurant style. You would go in and chose your menu. They had exercise classes. They had exercise equipment. At Fellowship Square, you could transition from independent living to assisted living if you had to. It was accessible to hospital and mall. I would recommend it.

A lady I know from church is staying at Fellowship Square Brown & Center, and she is very happy there. I like that one very much, but you do have to go outside and go from one building to another. My sister-in-law is in a walker, and we thought it would be easier for her to be in one building. There were different rooms like one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or one-bedroom with den. There were a lot of patios, and the floor plans were interesting. I met a few people in the sales department, and they were very friendly. They had bingo and wood working. I liked the atmosphere, and it seemed friendly. We were there once on Mother's Day, and they had dinner for the family and friends of the residents.

I did live at Fellowship Square for a year, but it was very expensive. It is a beautiful place, but if you were on a very limited income, it does catch up with you. I couldn't afford it because I don't have the income from estates and various things that other people do have. The people there and the facilities were very nice. They have a beautiful library and a volunteer librarian in there, and then they have a large room that you can play cards in. They have a pool and exercise programs there, too. They have very good transportation, a very good crafts place and medical facilities. Everything was good about it.

Fellowship Square - Mesa was just a nice facility. It provided meals, and the apartments were pretty small but they have some common areas that were nice. It appeared to be nicely maintained, and it seemed to be clean with no odor.

Fellowship Square is amazing. My dad loves it there. He is engaged and well taken care of. There are plenty of activities. He does Men’s Breakfast and veteran’s club. He has history discussions. They have a barbershop quartet. At least once a month, he goes out to dinner. They have a shuttle bus and he’s gone to church services. There’s always something going on. He can cook in his apartment but they also have a dining room that he can access a couple of times a month. My sister will go over and have breakfast or dinner with him once or twice a week. It’s just super convenient. It’s an excellent facility. They have aides on my dad’s floor that help him get around so he has a contact person, like a resident assistant available to him 24/7. They help him get to activities and engage him more and if he has any questions, they’re available. They’ve just made it really easy. They were really accommodating and the residents there did treat my dad like family.

I didn't care too much for the Fellowship Square - Mesa because it was a much older facility. It didn't seem like it was maintained as well as some of the others I have visited. I wasn't overly impressed with their staffing and with the dining room. I don't think they had as many activities for the residents. It is in need of remodeling to make it a more pleasant atmosphere.

My mother-in-law lives in Fellowship Square, that has assisted living, and they offer other products as well. It's really quite nice. She has her own room and it has a living room, a bathroom, a small kitchen. She has a screened-in balcony. They have all kinds of facilities and they do all kinds of stuff with these people. They take them out to museums, art shows, and plays. They have all kinds of people come in and play music for them. They have an exercise room and a heated swimming pool. My mother-in-law uses a lot of that facility. They have their own dining area, and the food is excellent. I can't rave enough about it, and it's very economical. The grounds are well-kept. They have a little garden area so that the people that live there could do a little gardening if they desire. They have a pond there that has koi fish in it and a little bridge that goes over it.

The biggest factor about Fellowship Square in Mesa is that it's a very clean facility. The people are very friendly and the staff were great. My mom has a small apartment and it's really nice because they have high ceilings.

My mom is a current resident of Fellowship Square. We're very familiar with it because my grandmother had been there before. It is a homey and friendly community. The activities are great. They have games, bingo, live bands, etc. They have a personal trainer five days a week. They just have a lot of things going on. The staff has been extremely helpful. My mom likes the food. She likes the community as a whole. Everything is great! There is nothing negative about it. We're happy she's there. I definitely would recommend this place.

I've visited the Fellowship Square and I really liked the place a lot. Everyone was nice, the grounds were very nice, the studios were a very good size, and they seem to offer a lot of different things. The only reason why we did not choose that facility for my grandmother was because it was not a very secure place for residents in memory care. It seemed they could easily get in and out anytime.

They have studios and 1-bedroom apartments. They offer satellite TV, Internet, and washers and dryers in some of the apartments. They also have a laundry room for the residents who don't have washers and dryers in their apartments. The apartments are private and handicapped-accessible. They have two buildings and about 90 residents. They have a casual dining room, and they have a chef and a dietician on staff. The food looked good. The residents can also eat in their rooms if they want. They have a doctor that visits and an RN that comes in. They're well staffed. I saw about five caregivers while I was there. The staff seems really good there. They have an activities director and provide transportation for these people. They have the regular activities like cards, games, TV, and movies. They have birthday parties and church services. They also have a computer specialist that comes in and teaches any residents who are interested how to use the computer. The grounds are pretty, with shrubs and trees and benches. They have a fountain. They also have a patio where the residents can sit.

Not too long ago I was intrigued by a group of independent residents in the community room seated at a long table that was full of baked goods and small handcrafted items. I stopped to see what was going on and several of the ladies proudly told me they were selling their own baked goods and craft items to raise money to fund the activity program at the retirement community. Knowing that boredom and a sense of uselessness plague many facility residents it was good to know that these ladies spend their days doing something that they find helpful, productive and needed. The money filters back into the activity budget which allows them and other residents the opportunity for a fuller schedule. This is a very creative way to involve the residents in the day-to-day operations of the community and a wise choice for the activity director.

Open for less than eight months, my mother and I toured this facility at its early inception or thereabouts. So, obviously it looked brand new, clean, set up for business, but something about it also seemed like a place that would always maintain this appearance. The building was slightly hospital-like built but then modernized to Arizona's natural landscape by inter-spacing the paint from brown to Mohave white. Very pretty and ascetically pleasing to the eye. Enormous open hallways with seating (group type seating where a couch faces two chairs), soft lighting, big windows. Very pleasing, as I said, to see. A nice pool and patio seating for meals when the weather permits. A full computer room, full exercise room, billiards tables, a craft room! I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the things I saw. Built on what seemed it's own land, but I learned from the brochure it was about 15 acres. Definitely a Christian community, or fellowship is how they state it, but the residents we did see seemed happy, active. Pets allowed! I even saw a couple walking their dog. Extraordinary staff, seemed very compassionate, friendly, cooperative. Superb accommodations. Residents actually approached us not a few times, but several times to welcome us ""home"". My mom said more than once ""this is soooo nice!""
