It was wonderful. They were great. I had been off work and had to take perosnal leave to take care of my dad. I hadn't slept for three weeks. When they were there I was able to get some sleep. They were very helpful. The people who they sent did everything we asked them to do. I was there pretty much the whole time with my dad. They were very helpful when we needed something. They had an understanding of what we were going through because we just lost my mom a few months ago. It was very hard for me to get through all of this and take care of him.

I have someone from the Thrive At Home agency come in for four hours a week. The caregiver is very good. It's a young man from Jamaica and he's perfect for my husband. He has just passed the test to go into the nursing program at the Northern Virginia Community College. He's very respectful to my husband, is a gentleman, and he listens well. But he needs to be a little bit more assertive.
