We have to have it. By providing me with a professional caregiver in the night, it gives me an opportunity to sleep at night, and know that my loved one is taken care of. I think the level of care has been good. I think getting feedback from the company is helpful. What would be really useful is to have an app that alerts me when something new happens. Unless something goes wrong, I don't get feedback. They help him out around the apartment and with meals on occasion if some haven't been provided by the apartments that he's in. They generally look out for him.

The caregivers are not always up to par, but Home Care Assistance does their best. We had a unique circumstance, meaning we could only utilize services on the weekend, which made things difficult. We also had to make a few changes, but the management was very helpful for us.
