I have lived at Ivy Point Richmond for almost 4 years and plan on making it another 4 years. I love living here for many reasons starting with management. Christi is a hoot and the most personable person I have ever met. She honestly cares. That is not something that you find often. She will take time to talk with you and find solutions to whatever problem you may have. Kendric is the most gentle giant that takes care of the residents. When a request for anything is made, he will be there ASAP. Which means fast. I have a small dog that is scared of her own shadow but went straight to Kendric the first time she met him. Not something that she ever does. Besides management there are a ton of thing to get involved with. We have all sorts of exercise classes including dancing. Pot Luck dinners are the last Friday of the month, dollar bingo is the first and third Tuesdays of the month. A pool you can go in any time weather permitting, pickle ball if you are into that, a putting green and a dog park. The residents get thing going including card games, vine down Thursdays, poker every Wednesday. Plus a bunch of other stuff you can get involved, meet the residents, make new friends and just be included with the Ivy Point family. No one is a stranger!! There is so much more so come on and join the Ivy Point Family, we'd love to have you.

I moved to Ivy Point of Richmond's independent living facility. The things I like most about them are their location and pricing. They have a pool, a pickleball court, a gym, and a library. They also have a conference room, private and open rooms. They don't serve meals, though. They have great staff. I'm in a 1-bedroom apartment with an office, and living and dining areas.

I am living in Ivy Point Richmond's independent living. It was brand new, that's why I moved here. The people are so nice, including the people who work here. They're also very professional. They always have activities during the day. We have water aerobics in the morning, cooking classes sometimes, and card games. They also have an in-suite pool and a weight room where they have activities like stretch aerobics and stuff like that. Everything is just nice and clean, and it's kept up really well. When you call them to fix something, they're right on time. You don't have to wait two or three days. I just think the price I'm paying is a lot for a senior and a 1-bedroom apartment.

We toured Ivy Point Richmond. It was okay. They didn't have some of the things we were looking for. They're a bit more expensive than we were used to. They walked us around and showed us the area outside. It was fairly new; I don't think it's been open for very long. When you walked in, the big foyer area was very nice. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, too. But we weren't comfortable. After looking at it, the price was a little bit too much for us. The parking space was fine though. It's a gated community, so if you live there, you would have a gate key or a code to get in.
