Kathan Elderly Care LLC is a small family-owned non-medical residential group home located in Little Elm, TX. Kathan Elderly Care LLC is dedicated to preserving the dignity of individuals living with memory loss through compassionate, loving care in a familiar home setting with individualized personal care, hearty and healthy home-cooked meals. Our owners have a combined experience of ten (10) years in the memory care health field with experiences with Alzheimer's/Dementia, Hospice Care, Cognitive Therapeutic Method, Music and Memory, and Person-Centered Thinking. We have a licensed Administrator with trainings in Person Centered Thinking and "It's all in your approach" training by Teepa Snow. We work with Doctors, Nurses and Aides from home health care and hospice care but if a family is wanting to keep their personal health care providers, we will also work with them in providing the best level of care for their loved one. Although we are non-medical, we provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as grooming, toileting, bathing/showering, dressing, eating/feeding, transferring and incontinence. We also provide medication reminders and medication administration, hoyer lift transfers and wheelchair assistance.
