We looked at a few places this matched the best for staff and pricing. The staff provided the best care a wife would want for their husband. All glowing with all the needs for my husband. I enjoyed sitting with the residents and staff. Carmen and Laquesha were top notch.

Do not pay attention to the menus that they show you! They are fiction! My loved one is paying $5,000 a month and is fed pasta and red sauce almost every meal. Last night was a hamburger patty on white bread. No fresh fruit, only fruit cocktail in a plastic container. Laundry is a joke. I found her laundry wet and lying on the floor by a mop and a drain. Bathes are almost non-existent and there is no doctor on sight - or nurse. A nurse practitioner is the one your loved one will see who cannot prescribe medicine in needed situations. I have had to provide toilet paper for her since she has lived there at my own expense. The staff is different every week because no one stays for long. Management is unavailable and uncaring as long as the bill is paid. I will be looking elsewhere when I can. If voices crying out, "Help, help" in the hallway, with no response from the caregivers, is you idea of paradise, come on down. It is my idea of just the opposite. There is no assistance here!

Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX was not quite what we were looking for because they were like individual houses. Every individual building had its own individual amenities with 7 to 10 bedrooms. And instead of everyone having his own shower, they had a communal shower. Their staff was very knowledgeable, but this facility didn't seem to have too many excursions and their bedrooms were small.

Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX was very nice. I think that the people that live there love it. The people that work there seemed very kind and caring. It would be a very nice place for anyone who needed to have a loved one stay there. I liked it. When I went, they were in the process of preparing lunch, and the food looked very good. From what I understand, the residents liked the food. I liked the openness of the kitchen out to the family area so that they could smell the food being prepared. It was just a very homey feel. They were very good. I only met the day staff, but because they were so great, I'm assuming that the evening staff is just as good. It was clean. It didn't smell. It felt very homey. All the residents seemed very happy. I felt very good about the whole place itself. It's a cute little community.

I liked that Mustang Creek Estates-Frisco TX was very clean. I loved that they have activities throughout the whole day and snacks and treats for the seniors. The facility looked excellent. It was well-maintained and very clean. I visited the memory care and the staff there seemed very caring about what they were doing, and very passionate. They were great. They explained everything to me and showed me what the daily activities would look like for the residents. I left there with no questions. Their menu was printed out and the meals looked balanced and well prepared. They have gardening there if they want to go outside. They also offer haircut services and they have a nurse and a doctor on staff if need be.

My overall tour experience at Mustang Creek Estates was very nice. I like the way the facility is laid out and the varying levels of care that they offer. They are set up by the house, which I like, so that was good. It's smaller. There are only 14 residents per house, so my mother-in-law would get better supervision. The sales director did point out the activity calendar and let us know what was available. It was a very nice community.

Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX was nice. They have a calendar of what they have and what they do. They have an open kitchen that you can see and they cook the food there. The room sizes were good, but not as big as where we're going. It wasn't so much of a hospital setting. We looked at private rooms, and they were nice. They had a lot of bingo, cards, arts, and stuff like that.

Mustang Creek Estates-Frisco TX was a nice facility, but it just wasn't what I was looking for, for my mom. We went to the memory care and into the rooms. Those were actual houses with maybe 12 people in them. The room size was good. The home itself was nice. It just had some urine odor, which I don't like. They may not be able to help it in some cases, but that was off-putting. I thought it was maintained though. They really were. The furniture was nice. They were decorated nicely. The staff was very nice, too.

Mustang Creek Estates-Frisco TX seems like a nice and clean place. It is close to home and the rooms are decent sized. There are six buildings and each building has 10 to 15 residents (they get three meals a day). The woman who gave the tour was helpful.

My mother is in Mustang Creek Estates- Frisco TX. I was impressed that it was clean and didn't smell like a normal facility when you walk into a senior place. It didn't have that odor in it, so that was impressive. My interaction with the staff is fine. I visit her at least twice a week. She got a private room and it has plenty of room for her to move around and do what she needs to do, and she has the restroom facility in her room, so she's not having to go down the hall or anything. They have shared rooms as well. They have activities, but my mother's in memory care, and she's never been one to go out of her way to participate in things. She goes out of her way to stay alone. There is a courtyard and an activities room. The people are nice, and they try to help my mom fit in. The serving sizes of the food to me were small, but they're not too small for my mother, so I would say they're right on. From what I've seen, they have appetizing meals or at least they look appealing. I went there, and I was very happy with what I saw and I didn't continue the search.

We toured Mustang Creek Estates. There were not very many social activities, and there was only one staff member when we were there that had to answer the phone, the door, and any questions. The cooks were there, and they probably could have answered too, but we weren't aware of anything like that. We have crossed that one off. The staff member who accommodated us was very kind, and there was a library, but she told me that they don't do outings because of COVID.

My dad likes Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX. It's very clean and the caregivers are very good. He's extremely happy there. They had a birthday party today for one of the residents, then they also have occasional celebrations/get togethers down in the dining area and all of that. The food is always good and always fresh. He likes it a lot.

I liked Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX. It's their houses, they're brick homes. The main thing that I liked is it doesn't look like an assisted living facility, it looks like a regular residential home. It has the feel of being at home. The lady that I interviewed gave me the tour. They were all very accommodating. They do home-cooked meals, they have an open kitchen, so I liked that concept. If I could have afforded that, that's where I would have gone and would have put my stepdad. The houses themselves, it's an open concept where the living room, the dining area, the kitchen, it's all opened up where you can see everything. It kind of makes a circle to where the back of the facility, or all the rooms, you can literally do a circle around the hall and come back. It's a really good setup as far as layout, as far as the house itself. They have a private privacy fence in the backyard where the residents can go outside, but they're locked in. They're secure, they're safe, so that was a plus. When you drive up to it, you don't even realize you're at an assisted living facility other than the sign.

For the type of the facility that they are, I'd give Mustang Creek Estates a good rating, but they're not the facility for us. The staff was so friendly, but the rooms felt more like a nursing home with the way the hallways looked and how it was set up. It's different because the whole house is a community, and within that community they have their own kitchen, their own living areas to congregate, and their separate rooms are outside. The facility has a unique, different concept in a way that each house stood by itself like that. You are also not allowed to leave the premises. The location is close to my home. We have seen the menu and their food has good variety too.

My family and I were so excited to have found this place and move our parents in. (They were recommended to us from a very respectable source in the senior living avenue in Dallas.) We were until my parents moved in. Everything we thought was too good to be true, was. I am sad to say that their experience there was disheartening and frightening. My mother is no longer here to tell about her exeperience and I will leave it at that. My dad moved out less than a week of moving in. I am sure others have had different experiences and found things to like about them or otherwise they wouldn't have been recommended. My advice is to always research where you want to place someone you love. And remember the old adage "looks can be deceiving"

Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX was beautiful. The people were very professional and friendly. I was looking forward to bringing my husband there. The dining area looked wonderful. The room was very beautiful. He was going to share a room with another man, but it was possible to get a private room.

We've visited Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco. There are six buildings in total and 15 people in each building, two each for independent, assisted, and memory care. The bedrooms are small, there's no room for a ceiling fan or anything. It has a bathroom, but you can only fit a bed, dresser, and possibly an extra chair. They encourage their residents to help with things like the trash and setting the table. The staff seemed very nice and the place was clean. Also, everything was all on one floor.

Mustang Creek was almost like a group home with around 10 residents per building. If you like a small environment, not a lot of activity, and a home setting, that would be a good fit. It had a homey atmosphere, and the rooms were smaller. The staff was very friendly and very good.

Mustang Creek Estates was really nice, but my mom decided that she is not ready yet. The lady who showed me the place was very friendly and very helpful. She took me around the place and was happy to show me all the amenities that they have. It was a nice place. They have a kitchen and a cook so they have fresh food every meal, and they have a big gathering for the seniors. It was pretty clean.

Mustang Creek was a great place. It was beautiful. I smelled good. It looked good and very clean. However, the price was not in my father’s range. They said they offered a lot of games, but at the time that I got there they were all having lunch. They were very helpful to the people who needed help. I thought it was pretty good that they had a good assistance.

We are so grateful for Mustang Creek!! When it was time to transition my grandfather from our home to an assisted living facility, it was not an easy decision, emotional or financially. We had a very short time to review the options but instantly fell in love with Mustang Creek. Pawpaw lived at Mustang Creek for about a year before passing away at 95 year old. Moving him into Mustang Creek this last year was the best decision we could of made. He loved it there and they loved him!! We loved the smaller home feel and Pawpaw loved the cooking. We could not believe how very personable the staff was and overall it just felt like a family from day one! The team there was always attentive, helpful and caring. The house was clean, welcoming and we never worried about Pawpaw’s level of care. The management team was incredibly informative, the all-inclusive pricing was awesome and they made the whole process from move in to move out super easy. We can’t thank them all enough for the fantastic experience!

I want to take this time to express my sincere appreciation for your facility, your staff and all that you do for families in great need of your help. When I finally realized that I could no longer take care of my husband at home, I started searching for a place for him and I feel so fortunate that I found Mustang Creek Estates in Frisco. I was absolutely distraught having to turn his care over to someone else but you made the transition for me so much less painful that I could have ever imagined. From the very first day, you showed respect, compassion and so much more for him and made me believe I was truly doing the 'right thing' and that he was in good hands. And I just want to say that families that are at the same place I was several months ago in making the most difficult decision of my life, should visit Mustang Creek Estates and see what a difference it could make in their lives.

Our Mother was a resident for less than 48 hours at Mustang Creek. It was a horrible and traumatic experience for a 89 year old dementia resident. We toured the facility 3 times and were always shown House B. Our Mother was placed in House A where there were groups of aggressive males who wandered the halls unsupervised. The men entered her room when the door was closed, walked through and used her bathroom, pounded on the door and tried to enter at night when she slept. At dinner they swiped food from her plate. One night a brawl took place in the hallway. The staffing was completely inadequate to supervise the residents. We or a night time private sitter were with her a great deal of the 48 hours but I wonder and worry about the other female residents in the house. We couldn't get out fast enough!

My husband had been in a variety of facilities in the past 2 years. It was extremely difficult being a caregiver during that time because of the long distances I had to drive. When Mustang Creek came to the Frisco area it was a lifesaver for my husband and I. The women in House F could not have been more caring to him and to me. Supervisor Magdalena was a wonderful leader, teacher and caregiver. That being said, I saw so many family members must stay involved with their loved ones. The most important care must come from an involved family member. We certainly had our ups and downs but things always got solved as long as I stayed involved. I will always be thankful to Magdalena and her team.

Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco have been really great helping us getting in and making adjustments. The staff has all been really helpful to my mom and trying to make sure that she is staying on track with her medications and meals. I have not eaten there, but the food always smells great. The rooms are nice, and I like the fact that she just has a smaller space, whereas in a full apartment, it’s just more room. She has been there for two months now. They have a lot of things, and I think they encouraged my mom to do activities.

We picked Mustang Creek because of the way it was laid out. It was that feeling of walking into a living room versus the nursing home feel. We like that layout of having 10 people in one building and the front door being the front door to the living area of the entire facility. However, I felt like they were understaffed. They cook, they clean, and they did the laundry, so there was little time for them to actually work with the patients. When I came in to see my mom, and I was like, "Did anybody check on you?" she said, "Yeah, but they wouldn't come when I asked them. I told them I needed to go to the bathroom." I think they're short-staffed. The people were great, but they need one more person that would just circulate amongst the patients versus fixing the food, cleaning up the food, doing everybody's laundry, and cleaning the facility. They just never seemed to have time for the patients. To give you an example, my mother couldn't feed herself, but they would just set the tray there and leave. They worked hard, but they just didn't have enough people there.

We went there for an appointment, but nobody had any idea we were there; you could walk right in. There was no security what so ever, and they couldn’t find anybody to talk to us, so we just left. The dining room looks like a small version of a high school cafeteria. We only talked to two of the nursing staff who were nice and accommodating, and I’m sure they wanted to help us, but it just didn’t work out.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit Mustang Creek Estates and write a review. I truly appreciate you sharing how nice and accommodating our care team was to you during your visit. I apologize that I was unavailable at the time you stopped in for a visit. While we do our very best to accommodate “walk in” appointments, sometimes this is challenging due to scheduled appointments, like the one I was with. We have no record of a scheduled appointment during the time of your visit and many times appointments are scheduled through third party resources that are out of our control.
I would like the opportunity to sit down and speak with you about the reason for your visit and give you my full attention to answer all of your questions and share with you why Mustang Creek Estates is truly a wonderful, different and new type of Assisted Living. Our mission is to provide seniors with a high quality, residential type of assisted living at an affordable price.
Thank you again –
