Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine is very open, airy, and very bright. I absolutely love the location and the facility. They've had some turnover in staff since my sister has gotten there, which I don't like. They also seem to be a little short staffed, but I love everything else including the price, the location, and the actual facility. Her unit has a little outer room and one bedroom. They're redoing the hallways, making it look fresher and nicer. They have people you can hire if you need more assisted living. They do Wal-Mart runs, they have a library that has a computer, open rooms, sitting areas, and a nice large activity room. I love the openness, the hallways, and the laundry rooms. They have one elevator, which is very slow due to their request. She's on the second floor and there's a nice grand staircase that's very wide and has a platform every five or six steps. I love how it's laid out. They're by far the best in the area price wise.

My mom moved into Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. It's clean, and the meals are pretty decent. The staff has been very helpful and even allowed an interim day to accommodate my mom. They have been super friendly. They're kind of going into transition right now and the maintenance staff is being upscaled as we speak. They have a lot of activities. They have a chapel and one of the local Catholic churches come in to do communion service. It's pretty easy to get in and out of the place.

We visited Solstice. Their exterior was very nice, and impressive, even in the communal areas. However, we were disappointed with the apartment. We looked at a 1-bedroom, and it was very dark, and very cramped. The community areas were very nice. The staff was very nice.

I didn't like Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine at all. It did not have a good feel and had a very institutional feel. The lady who showed me around was wonderful. I would rate the rooms a 3. I had lunch there and did not enjoy it. I didn't care for the facility at all.

South Colleyvine Ranch was lovely. The rooms were nice and the people were very helpful. It was pretty classy. I recently received a call from one of their representatives and they were very nice. I'm very pleased. The dining area was very nice and it was very elegant. I was looking for something very close and it's only a block away from us.

I went to South Colleyvine Ranch, and I saw that it needs to be updated. It looks like a little old lady, but their staff is very nice. Their location is also nice, but it just did not have what I needed. Their amenities are limited. They have a small room which they call their library, but they have a large activity room.

I am happy with everything at South Colleyvine Ranch. My sister is in a studio apartment. It is clean, they do a really nice job, and everything is good. My sister has complained about the food because they are undergoing some changes in contractors that they hired to serve the food, but last night, she said the food was better. If the food was good, we will be very happy.

We found South Colleyvine Ranch. The staff was great. The gentleman that walked us around was very informative and very interested. He used my mother-in-law's name multiple times so he was engaged and paying attention. We know that he is on call. If something happens, he has a pager. We were very pleased with the walkthrough. The rooms were fine. They looked very nice. They have good choices of food. There was a very good social environment. The dining experience was outstanding. They have very active social settings, and they also have transportation to the Grapevine Senior Center which was important for us. A lot of the people there go to the same church as my mother-in-law. They have transportation to the church. They have karaoke night. Also they have a choir that was very important for her. They have a very nice social calendar with great transportation.

We did visit Colleyvine, but we didn't go over the whole place. We ate lunch there. The food was very nice, and it seemed healthy. It had a big variety. It was just great. It is very nice, but the only thing they had was little apartments, and we wanted a cottage. Most of them we are so impressed by. We loved it. We are sorry we have to back out on being on the waiting list. It is far from our house, but anywhere you live around the Dallas-Fort Worth area is far from your house.

My dad has only been in South Colleyvine Ranch for 30 days, and he likes the facility. The rooms are big, food is good, the people are nice, and he has a little bit of independence. I think one thing he likes about it is the comfort level because the managers live on site and are available around the clock. They have activities like bingo and poker, and they take him to the doctors.

The full name of the place is South Colleyvine Ranch. The staff is very pleasant. They have staff on duty 24 hours a day. They have studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments. It is a 3-story facility, and they furnish 3 meals a day. If the residents there require help, they have people there who will take them in a wheelchair down to their meals or bathe them or whatever. But that's a contract, and that is extra. They have daily activities. They have things such as bingo, and something like bean bag baseball, and some other ones. They also have things like crossword puzzles and other puzzles for the residents to use. They have an exercise class daily.
The thing I like most is the fact that the director there and the staff are very, very pleasant people. They go out of their way to help. The facility is kept very clean. The residents have their room vacuumed and dusted once a week, and linens are furnished by the Colleyvine Ranch.

Among the facilities that we have visited, South Cooleyvine Ranch was the one that my dad liked the most. The staff and the facility were all very great. The amenities were not as traumatic or drastic as the others. The food was excellent. My dad just went on and on about how good the food was.

I picked South Colleyvine Ranch for my mother because of its proximity to where I live, the amenities that they have and the meals that they provide. My mom has been there since July. This facility is something I can recommend to others. Their staff is very helpful and they do care for their residents.

I was a care giver there for a resident and when I became eligable for retirement I was told by managers to enter only through the side door not the front enterance door made me feel like a nobody

My impression on South Colleyvine Ranch is that it was fairly modern. People seemed to be happy there. Overall, it gave a very positive vibe. However, we are still in search and I'm waiting on my parents to get them in a situation where they are ready to make a move.

I visited this facility
I thought the facilities were warm, light, and welcoming. There were windows everywhere, so the entire facility was lit with soft, natural light instead of harsh florescent lights. The amenities were truly astounding as there was a large cafeteria, a recreation and sun room, as well as plenty of outdoor facilities. It felt more like a hotel than an old folk's home. The rooms were spacious too with plenty of natural light not at all cramped or tight. All of the resident seemed fairly active instead of sluggish or generally dejected and they really enjoyed the rounds of bingo that I called out. There also seemed to be a full schedule of activities at the facility. I always saw the bus running around town, but I also go to see a schedule while I was volunteering there, which included trips to many different events a places. I got to work with the owners themselves during the volunteer work and they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring towards all of the volunteers, staff, and residents.

I had a chance to stop by this place while I was in school in Fort Worth. I was with my church and we like to go to Old folks homes and spend some time with the seniors and play bingo and just visit. Colleyvine is a really nice place. All the seniors seemed in good spirits and the place was a far cry from some of the other places I have seen in the past. The area around Colleyvine is great as well. Grapevine is a very nice city and there are shops and entertainment close by for the active seniors. The staff was also very friendly, doing all they can to make all their residents feel at home and most importantly, loved.I would recommend this place to anyone trying to find a place for a parent or loved one that needs attention and care on a daily basis that can only be provided by trained care professionals.
