Watermere at Woodland Lakes

My mom will be moving into Watermere at Woodland Lakes. I like the fact that it's close to home. I like the fact that it's a brand-new facility. They have lots of amenities, including a pool. The staff was wonderful, very nice, accommodating, and always available when we needed them. The size of the apartments is wonderful, with lots of closet space. There's plenty of storage room. They have an onsite location for an assisted living-type program that you can incorporate into independent living, which is what we needed because we can't afford assisted living right now.

We went to Watermere at Woodland Lakes. They're really good. It was clean. We saw lots of residents that live there that seemed very happy. There were lots of activities. On different floors, they offered a gym, a beauty salon, and meeting places. It was a very active and lively community. With food, they give 75 credits per month included in the rent, and they also do free continental breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly. They answered questions. They were very talkative and involved with the residents. The building was only two and a half years old, so it was beautiful. It was somewhere where you or I would want to live. It's in the Woodlands. It's in a location where they're on actually kind of a small lake. There are trees everywhere, so it's beautiful. They have attached and detached garages for cars, so that's nice.

There were a lot of factors why we liked Watermere at Woodland Lakes. One was the cost, and two was the size of the apartment. The third was the closeness for us to the church that we go to, to our doctors, and to our daughters. We also liked their amenities. The person we talked to was friendly, informative, and open to whatever questions we had. Everything was very clean and well-kept. They have a pool (indoor and outdoor), a real nice gym, and groups that meet and go to places. Even if we have our car, we can still use their transportation.

Watermere at Woodland Lakes is very warm and welcoming. It's an active senior living community, and we've been very pleased. It's very clean and all the amenities are very nice. My mom and her sister feel very comfortable there. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The menu selections are very good. They have a nice variety. Everything seems to be maintained very well.

Watermere at Woodland Lakes is a nice community. It's a busy location because you got the strip center, building, and all that kind of stuff around it. But it's nice and doable. The staff members are very nice, very accommodating, and very honest. They were really quick to answer all the questions and kind of helped guide me on what to look for. The rooms were good. They have an open concept for people to maneuver with wheelchairs and walkers, which is very nice for elderly people. They are very comparable to a lot of other apartment projects. They are good and very equal to what you can find in an apartment. They have all of the essentials that you would need. They have a refrigerator, stove, and garbage disposal. They had a swimming pool and a small exercise room. The grounds were nice. They offer a lot of services. If you don't drive, and you need to go to the doctor, they offer transportation. It's a nice deal for somebody who is incapacitated or has a lot of medical problems that needs help. The facility is nice. From what I could see, they do a good job.
