We went to visit the Agape Care Home when we were looking at places for our aunt. We liked the look of the building, which resembled a country getaway or lodge - very home-like. We could immediately see that the grounds were well tended with lots of greenery and places for residents, friends and family to enjoy. All of the community rooms looked clean, bright and well maintained. Residents could be seen enjoying a book, socializing, watching movies, and playing games. There are also plenty of spaces for gatherings and parties. The private rooms were peaceful with nice designs and all seemed like they were personalized for each resident. The seniors all seemed like they really liked their dwellings. The dining room includes a lot of great food options. Residents are given plenty of healthy choices to enjoy. The food looked and smelled very appetizing. They offer plenty of nutritious snacks that all looked delicious, too. Residents may request snacks any time they like. The residents enjoy walking around the grounds as well as using the exercise room to use the bikes and equipment. They can also take weekly classes for yoga and aerobics. The seniors also enjoy many outings in the local and nearby areas to enjoy culture, shopping, events and nature. There are plenty of nearby medical facilities as well, which is comforting. All of the staff and residents we saw seemed to work together to create the best place for the seniors to live and thrive in their environment.
